RJ was playing against 3 top 10 recruits from 2020 - which is the class RJ was in until re-classifying , and 2 top players from 2021. - He had 115 points over the weekend for an average of 28.8 ppg. Absolutely has the ability to be able to change speed an direction due to his athleticism and handles.
One of the big things in his recruitment with Coach that KU was telling him he comes here - - we will run the offense through him and he is the type for sure that can get us back to the final four. - Bill was the one who was the 1st and really pushed for him to re-classify - -we were the 1st blue blood to offer RJ - been in on him from the get go. - He would step right in to the starting line up - rather it be at the # 1 - -OR the 2 - absolute need/want - kid is a stud. - People said he is probably the best guard regardless of any class. - THIS we need - -we NEED/want. - -and bad - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

It really is a legit and tough question to answer. What fits the team needs the most. Both players have differing skill sets. In a perfect world you have both to use. It doesn't seem like we can have both however.
Silvio- knows the system, best rebounder on the team, top 3 athlete on the team, raw, inexperienced, high motor, limited shooter.
Holyfield- can stretch the floor, shot blocking presence, good athlete, 3 years of D1 experience, high character teammate.
Holyfield is probably the perfect compliment to Doke offensively. That's if his 40% 3 ball is truly a strength of his game. Defensively because of his versatility on Offense I'd assume he can guard the perimeter better as well. Silvio and Doke are limited here. Can he rebound at a high level? Silvio is a top rebounder and a High % shooter around the basket. If we could take them both and combine talents we have one heck of a player
Again Silvio would chances more then not - -BECAUSE of limitations of outside game - -would be another five. - -So that means he wouldn't be competing with Holyfield for playing time. - -Silvio for sure can be a shot blocker - -for sure tough rebounder. -- If anything you would or quite possibly be Holyfield starting at the 4 and Mitch giving him those limited minutes for blows that people are talking about. - -Holyfield would be most likely getting his 25 minutes that he wants - - Mitch would be getting what about he has always got - -8-12 minutes. - Then you got Doke -- Silvio - - - & Dave at the 5.
Mitch has the D-1 experience to fill his role for his minutes , Silvio experience would not be an issue at the 4 - -cause he wouldn't be at the 4- -Mitch might be a little better defender on the floor then Silvio - -and just has the ability a lot of the time when he gets beat can re-group and still block the shot. - -Just not seeing the issue about this - seems pretty simple - -again seeing as how Silvio more chance then not will be playing the 5 - -possible a few minutes at the 4 but majority at the 5. -- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I'm not really sure why Silvio coming back should be a reason for Holyfield NOT to come. - Like you just pointed out Holyfield is a 4 - -Silvio like you said is a true 5 more likely then not.

I know some of your opinions about Matt Tait and Benton are not the highest - - -and that's ok , but just thought today in their podcast - - -they brought out some pretty good points/scenario's on some things. Just wanted to share, so having said that:
1st when they were talking about Devon and possibility of the NBA: - Matt said he had the chance to talk to a couple of NBA scouts , and asked them about Devon: - -they said that the NBA really like Devon , but when asked about his chances this year - - they like Devon BUT not a top 20 Devon - - more like a 30-40 Devon.
So for some who think that Devon is Gone - -umm Maybe not. I never have thought he was Gone - -just an informational thing for him , getting feed back on what he needs to work on. - -Like Matt pointed out now if he was a projected or he was told he would be a top 20 draftee this season - -Hell ya then get you some. They said they had seen one mock lottery like he was at # 29 - but if he comes back works on things - things like I had mentioned - -- Creating own shot off the bounce - -working on his passing - working on his J - very easily could go to a top 20. - -makes sense to me.

Talked again about Coach Self and Jerrance was the 1st blue blood to offer and has always been there from the beginning and they keep preaching if I come there I could be their go to guy and could help get them back to the final 4.
Said he liked how Coach Beard used his guards and give them freedom.
Said he wants to get to ALL the Schools really soon and talk to the Coaches - -and talk everything out with his family - -and make his decision.
Sounds to me like he could very easily be pushing up his decision as to where he is going to commit , by wanting to get back to these schools and talk to Coaches and then get with his family. - would not be surprised to see him move that date up. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

My wife and I have been awaken in the middle of the night when shots were so close we saw the Blue flash of the gun at like 3:00 a.m in the morning - -only to look out and see Cones in our drive blocked off and Officers searching through our yard for shell casings and vehicle across the street full of bullet holes.
About 4 years ago it got so bad in our area we had TPD riding double which they normally don't do - and coming through like every 5-10 minutes - - got so bad we actually had Homeland Security coming through. - -We have haad the FBI come down our street and end up having TPD - - - Shawnee County Sheriff's - -KBI - - - lined up our street with the Police command center parked at the end of our drive - -we have had Swat team coming out of Armored Truck with Lock and load in their Assault rifles and shotguns - -So y a not necessarily little time but Kansas like you say hasn't been good

Not at all on Watford. He may end up there but with all the stuff LSU is going through it’s a lot more open. Nate Oats has done a great job making up ground as well. All 3 schools probably have a shot.
