@BShark UC Davis has 9 to our 8, only reason it's contest is our silly turnovers.

@Texas-Hawk-10 we are shooting 50% from the floor and 38% from 3, turnovers are the issue.
With the floater Mason has passed Perry Ellis for 8th on the all time scoring list. Very sloppy offensively, too many TOs.
@drgnslayr good points @globaljaybird I think alot depends on the initial report. They say something else bad every other week it sounds made up. She could very easily be charged with assault for throwing a drink in Vicks face. In regards to the mistreatment, I think a judge will get a good laugh outta it. Her minutes didn't drop til 11 games after the incident. She her self has had some issues as well I'm sure JJ lawyer's have a pretty strong case to just pay for the damage done and move on instead of acting like a 3 year.
ISU looked really good for the most part, I thought Purdue was lucky. That could be a pretty interesting game.

@Texas-Hawk-10 IU maybe one of the few places I could see giving the money to get him and him wanting to go. He is currently the 9th highest paid coach in D1 and probably wouldn't get any pressure from WSU until 3 or 4 crap years. I would stay if I was him, already making bank for a midmajor and if he hangs for awhile long half the campus will be named after him.

They have two Kansas natives on their roster: senior Georgi Funtarov and sophomore SIler Schneider. Funtarov, from Bulgaria, played at Lawrence Free State and Lawrence-Bishop Seabury in high school. Schneider starred for Lansing.
They don't seem to have great guard play, 19 turnovers. Their big could have a nice game because that's what we have allowed all year. Baring one of their guards going nuts and dropping 30 I'd say they have a slim chance. Going forward from the first round we must show pride on defense, rebounding (shooting was big vs Nova but the offensive rebounds late were killer) and the whole team has to show up, our bench was outscored 31-3 vs TCU (Ik we didn't have JJ but still pathetic).
I'm not gonna give the time day to talk about who Fizzou wants to hire, dont give damn to be honest. In terms a Marshall going anywhere deal I highly doubt it. He has the WSU athletic department bye the balls. He is the 9th highest paid coach in all of D1, hirer than several NC coaches. Outside of some one like UNC or Duke offering once Roy or coach K retires most other programs ether don't have the money to give him around 5 million a year to leave or dont wanna take the risk.
@StLJhawk As much as we give Weber shit about playing hard, its a big thing this time of year, you can't take possessions off. I wish all of our guys played hard, sometimes I think its just Mason and LL. It will take effort from every soul on this team to make a title run IMO.
Good thing is the B12 gets a win, hopefully a good sign. KSU fans already blowing up social media like it's the NC.

@Blown Interesting, I don't too stress over my brackets unless like last year if UNC won I won $500 but I fill out several brackets, none of which are the same (I maybe sucking it up in one but doing good in the other). That's one other mistake people make when they enter in several, they pick mostly the same exact teams. I have brackets that could be busted tonight, others that play it pretty safe. I've won contests picking both ways, half of it is just picking the right upset.
@ralster I'm with you forsure, you know I used to not hate KSUCK but there were a few years where we were better in FB, BB and think it short circuited some of their fans and they couldn't handle it. I don't cheer for them regardless of the opponent because of that and anytime they achieve moderate success in their eyes they are a national power and feared bye all. Plus besides being coached by Manning, my sons name is Deacon and hes a demon at times himself lol.
Its killing me friends. I always disliked waiting as a player and coach, once I've seen who and where I wanna go! My wife always laughs at how hyped up I get before the games bye watching youtube highlights and how I'm all sweaty like I just played at the conclusion. Tomorrow atleast there will be games. Favorite season, Holiday season or March Madness(madness for me)? Who's ready to get this dance started?

The regular season was really one of the best we have ever had. As some have mentioned, I'm disappointed that we couldn't keep the win streak alive. I hate losing at home, no if, ands or buts about, We were probably do to lose one in conference I suppose with our last lost coming in 2013 in conference. Winning the NC will quickly make me forget about that day.

I think a FF would make it a great season, sweet 16 I'd be a little disappointed but this is the hardest tourament to win in all of sports IMO. People forget that alot I think, with the parity where it is at. there really are no give mes outside of the first round for a one seed. One game at a time men, lets see how far we can go.
@ralster I agree but they were pretty lucky with several of those 3s, our defense is prob the worst in the Self. Im a defensive coach and i get so mad as to why we cant maintain position worth a damn.
@ralster I think purdue can win that match up, the only reason they beat us was Frank was the only guy that showed up and they hit a school record in 3s. We killed them on the glass in that game as will purdue.
@StLJhawk I pick some crazy picks in about half my brackets, #1 issue is with most people they dont pick enough upsets.
This wont be popular on here but I got KSU to the sweet 16. I know most say its unlikely but DJ Johnson who was out several games in their slide is back and healthy and they play good defense, I always pick good defensive teams which doesn't bode well for us. I'm looking to get my groove back, I usually enter 4 or 5 bracket contests and I had won 4 in a row til last year. Roy Williams owes me $1200. $500 for UNC losing last year and $700 for KU losing in 03 lol.

Interesting bit if we face UC Davis Friday, their coach Jim Les was head coach of Bradley in 06 when they beat us first round. I think they will lose to NCCU anyway. Sometimes I wonder what the committee uses to pick the last teams in. Can't be RPI with Illinois State 20 spots higher than KSU and USC 3 spots higher.
