@mayjay hahaha I think Self may have mishandled a few of them for sure (JR Giddens) but most of them like Omar Wilkes and Micah Downs were way over rated out of highschool
@rockchalkjayhawk nothing wrong with him but why waste the time and NIL money when we had a guy that has been waiting in the wings for 2 years.

A 100 percent true my friend look no further than our highest rated HS recruit in history that just hit the transfer portal DE DeShawn Warner. I believe he played in just 4 games for a 5-7 team with a sub par defensive front 7. Talib was 2 stars but made an impact instantly once he got to campus. Has multiple all pro and pro bowl selections. Same could be said for Chris Harris Jr. can add in our current duo of Mello and Cobee, both 3 stars that will be drafted. More 3 star rated recruits are in the NFL and NBA than 5 stars. Look at the dozens of BB recruits that were 4 or 5 stars that amounted to crap for us. You have to have a guy that can eye not only talent but potential.
Morrison enters the transfer portal, stinks I really thought he had some bright moments this season. I strongly disagree with signing the Iowa transfer. We had a solid back still on the roster. This offseason is staring to look very bad. We are going to be in full blown rebuild mode.
Would rather lose this game than the Fizzou game
Other positive is we wonāt be #1, which you all know I think being ranked #1 especially in March is cursed lol

Iām honestly not a 100% sure what Bills game plan tonight was, obviously it wasnāt executed well. He still is trying mold these guys and shape this team. I definitely donāt like that Coit, Juan and Storr shot 61% of our FG attempts in the game. Hunter wasnāt given hardly any post touches tonight nor Flory or even KJ for that matter. Our highest percentage shooters only got 11 shots up. Thats just not going work against a good team. I donāt think Juan took any terrible shots but thatās what teams will do to him. Bait him into taking a ton of shots and his career FG% isnāt great for a guy that shoots mostly runners/layups in the lane.
@BShark Griffen is definitely the better of the 3, Storr needs to be sat down for a while.
@BShark Iām more disappointed and concerned with the defense than offense. To quote Billy Hoyle ā Sometimes the ball just doesnāt go in the holeā . I think we could survive poor shooting with good defense or a friendly whistle. Not many teams survive all 3
I honestly feel like as I said earlier in the year we need to stop playing 2 bigs a team that can hit the long ball will smoke us. Just one game early in the season. The switching defense just doesnāt work with a big like Hunter. Juan should never shoot the ball 21 times in one game

Pop Issacs is just easily the best player on the floor tonight. We didnāt bring crap on either end and had an unfriendly whistle. Whether we needed it or not this is a wake up call.

NBA game since the early 00ās. No defense, no strategy, just becomes a game of whom can jack up the most 3 or take it one on one.
I donāt really care about Dook, I do laugh a lot at their fans and talking heads. They had Parker, he was next LeBron and future Goat. Same could be said for Banchero, Zion, Flagg and a dozen others that havenāt brought a NC to Dook or had a great pro career for whatever reason. @BShark I agree that Banchero has a very high ceiling. I feel like our pros get a lot of Jazz but you could put all the hawks on one team and theyād be a threat to win it all.

Iām not sure how anyone could be disappointed at this stage of the season with whom we have played. Juan and KJ are arguably on their best 2 or 3 game stretch of their careers. Which is as expected they are seniors with a ton of experience. As I said in the game chat zero reason why Juan canāt be 8-8 or 10-10 guy every single night. He has been much more aggressive and not just with taking shots but driving the ball and passing. Storr and Griffen continue to improve on both ends of the floor. Still a fair amount to work out especially defensively as stated above we leave shooters open to often and are slow on rotations quite a bit too.

The offensive line and the secondary are what concerns me on this team so right now. Mahomes has been a little off at times but also has been sacked the 5th most times of any QB in the NFL right now. Thats with him making plays like he did to Dhop on Friday that ends in sack for 90% of the QBs in this league. Mahomes is currently in the top 9 in just about every QB stat category- yards, touchdowns, completion percentage and QBR. Thats without having his top 2 receivers he went thru camp with in Rice and Brown. Prior to Dhop this roster didnāt have an active top 50 WR in the NFL. Kelce will be there when it matters just like last season.
So with Texas clinching a spot in the SEC title game, is it safe to say maybe that conference isnāt as far ahead as the talking heads claim? Talking about a program that had won a single conference title in the B12 in the last 14 years.

@Texas-Hawk-10 in 2006 we actually went 6-6 and were bowl eligible. There just wasnāt near as many bowls as there is now. I wish this team only gave away 4 games, then weād be 8-4 or 7-5z I hate to break this to you but this isnāt D3 football. We donāt have to argue but mark my words this will cripple this program for a half of decade. Hope the next staff can sustain success.
@SlimShaddy54 I canāt blame anyone that wants to jump ship after this season. We looked very poorly coached for much of it. I think huge staff changes are in order if LL has the guts to do it. Also thinking about it I think you tell JD he has played his last game as a Jayhawk. He was pure garbage 8 of 12 games and turned it over 10 times in the first 5 games that cost us at least 3 wins. The more I think about letās just cancel the program and get in the big east. This has been a giant waste of time and money. This program is finished.
@Crimsonorblue22 That was pretty interesting to say the least. Wonder if criminal charges will be filed, OSU had several staff members heavily involved, throwing punches and being bloodied themselves.
Unfortunately as I said above this undoes most of this groups success. Its very scary to think about what next years club could be like. Recruiting trail doesnāt look great with only 16 signees. It will be interesting to see whom transfers out because we know some will. I hope our NIL is healthy because we are going to need to hit home runs at several key positions. I think this season sets us back to 2021 LLs first year. I sit here and wonder if the stadium will ever get finished. I think a best case scenario for next season is 3 wins and donāt see us competing for a bowl game in at least 2 years. Worst Iāve felt since Beaty was here to end a season.
Pretty solid outing after a slow start. Only gripes I have is we couldāve hit a few more open 3s and cut down on the turnovers. Got a road test Wednesday
