@DanR it looked like a foul but he never touched him. The foul on Griffen was pure garbage as was the it being their ball. Like I always say get up by 10 plus and the garbage calls come out

So now that Eric bieniemy has been relived of his duties at UCLA, anyone want him back in KC? The offensive drop off after he left and Nagy returned is pretty evident.

Defense has been the weak link during the Leipold era and that’s no secret. I like what I have heard on him thus far.

@BigBad I think the majority of the blame is squarely on Selfs shoulders. The team that he constructed wasn’t ready to play. He is basically in the role of coach and GM of this program. He hand picked these players, so yes it is on him he has to have accountability for this. As I’ve stated and others 2022 likely saved his job. Not to go full blown Kensucky fan on here but he’s has the talent to win a national title every other year on average.

Worst 12-1 team ever!!! “But we are 12-1” - Captain Jack Sparrow. It’s pure entertainment for me at this point to see what the general reaction is. Yes you make your own luck thru preparation. The NFL is a tight league where records mean little on a week to week basis. These men are getting paid millions to go as hard they can go and they are the best in the world at what they do. 7 games were decided by one score or less so far this week. The Bills barely squeak by the jets(a few weeks ago), they are gods. The Eagles barely edge out the same Panther team that KC struggled with no worries (tip of cap to them, they have turned a corner). People are mad because their team can’t play bad and still win or play good yet some how lose.

Wouldn’t be the chiefs without some late game drama. I’ll give the chargers a ton of credit they executed a near flawless second half. Super gutsy performance by Mahomes, dude got lit up repeatedly as the offensive line continues to struggle. That last first down scrambling and finding Travis was textbook while bouncing off a tackler. I hope Humphries is alright and can continue to improve. 9 straight AFC west titles pretty nice to have. My son realized he has never seen a season with at least a divisional title.

Solid first half, nice to see the defense show up, they have been slacking recently.

@mayjay ya he is coming of a major injury, idk how that wasn’t at least defensive holding on that last play. Yes it was over throw but he held him all the way down the field. These refs sure suck if they are supposed to be favoring the chiefs

On offense it’s the same issue as last season Hunt has 2 or 3 guys with him 90% of the time because they is zero threat from 3 at this point. They are daring Juan, Zeke, AJ and Rylen to shoot it. If this team actually moved the ball and had a shooter or two they’d be fine. We could easily be a better team next season with out the trio of Juan, KJ and Hunt

Zeke was a minus -23 today woof. The 3 guys that were brought in to score combined for 9 points. That isn’t going to cut it. This offense has too many guys dribbling around just to dribble around. The ball screen defense is the same garbage it was a year ago. Zeke needs to be benched, he’s too much of a liability on defense if he ain’t making shots.

@rockchalkjayhawk 100 percent correct Bill built this team and bought it. I know people will come at me on here but Bill Self has made plenty of mistakes. I still stand behind my comment of if Ochai doesn’t get the steal and the dunk in the 2022 round of 32 game vs Creighton. He ain’t our coach right now and everyone hates him.

@rcjhdraft it old news that KJ stinks against size. He always has and always will. Same could be said for Juan. They are Bigger, Faster and stronger at almost every position out there. It’s really detrimental for this group.

@FarmerJayhawk yes it will be interesting how much they penalize the losing a teams in the conference championships. I think the likes of Texas and Penn state are safely in but big question mark around SMU. They’ve always favored the SEC so hardcore I’d be shock if Bama doesn’t in. I just hope a non SEC team wins it.

@FarmerJayhawk it will be interesting at this point to see what happens. I dislike how much hype Boise and Jeanty are getting. Sorry Jeanty who will likely break Barry Sanders record if they play 2 playoff games doesn’t impress me much. Guy averages 30 carries a game playing in a powder puff conference. Boises clam to fame is we only lost by 3 in the first game of the year to Oregon. What flex by the former pac-12 members. ASU wins the B12, Oregon the B10. I’m thinking with Texas making the title game it proves the SEC isn’t quite as far ahead in CFB as they think.

We had some of this in my work training last month about how marketing and advertising are in full blown attack mode. They monitor you and know you better than yourself in most cases.

@Crimsonorblue22 none of his shots were “bad” but we don’t want or need him taking 20 plus shots if we are being successful. Credit to them for playing solid defense.

@focojayhawk @FarmerJayhawk Baylor went from 3-9 with Grimes to 8-4 without him. KU returned a ton of guys and went from 9-4 to 5-7 with him (obviously more goes into that just him). Any logical fan base would be screaming not to hire the idiot.

@SlimShaddy54 yes I’m very worried as I have mentioned a few time la this season, we could go back to 2 wins very quickly this next season. A rebuild would’ve been okay had this team and staff at least made a bowl. If I’m not mistaken we are set up to return 7 starters as team currently and that’s if more guys don’t transfer. Which I’m hearing from multiple sources a good chunk of this team is transferring out.
