@Gorilla72 I thought he actually looked pretty calm probably just telling the guys to have fun and play hard. What else can he do, we ain’t anything great with Kevin and Hunter so this isn’t surprising. KU was underdogs by 1.5 points, I glad I picked Cincinnati to cover. I’ve start bet against us because it makes feel a little better.

@Crimsonorblue22 if he ain’t coming back might as well, that’s what is stupid about CBB compared to CFB. CFB players can play 25% of the season and still redshirt. CBB should change the rule to 5-8 games.

@bskeet right I like Hoosiers as well but wouldn’t base my pick on a movie made in the 80s about a team in the 50s a highschool no less. Indiana isn’t crap I hope we don’t turn into them in the next couple of years.

@BeddieKU23 I’m honestly shocked someone hasn’t beaten the brakes off of him at this point. I said when we played them if he hurt one of our guys with that crap, I’d go over and beat the sh** outta his dad for raising him that way.

Most of Dickinson problem is our lack of shooting, I’ll see if I can find the twitter or X link to the photo I saw earlier from the Houston game. Juan had the ball up top and had 7 feed of room and all other guards/ wings had over 10 feet between them and defense. Furphy and Kevin were both in but they still filled the middle of the lane and said you can’t beat us with 3s.

I’ll admit I’m prob a little bit more doom and gloom with yesterday not being a good day all around. My 14 year old dog died and we got hammered so I’m admittedly not in a great mood.

@Texas-Hawk-10 well I can’t really argue with that. I just can’t remember a year in my life where I’m not looking forward to March madness.

@wissox I’m just saying I’m losing faith in his ability to build a roster and he should take some heat for such. Bill Self has never lost more than 10 games in a season as a power 5 coach. Unless we win one of the tournaments that happens this season.

@wissox I think we all can agree this season has been unacceptable for Kansas basketball.

Ladies having trouble keeping up with Texas tonight close game thru out but Texas pulling away late. No answer for their bigs and we have had turnover issues this half.

First 30 point conference loss since 2000 and lowest scoring out in conference since 1982. This is quickly becoming not only Bill Selfs worst team but one of the worse 40 or 50 years. Hopefully his seat gets warm this offseason, this is unacceptable.

Just heard officially, Hunter had a dislocated shoulder and is done for the year.

@bskeet I think the B12 has a great chance to get multiple teams to the final four. I just wished we was one of them.

@bskeet prob true I’ve said it a few times and I’ll say it again. I have never been this down on KU basketball. Idk if it gets better with Juan and Hunt coming back.

Congrats to Houston they were told they would get spanked into conference and they shut everyone up. They are looking like the new big dog in this league. They could return every player on this roster. If that happens we have no chance to win it next season.

So moving forward we may not have Hunter or Kevin….. we are done no questions

@wissox I can handle a loss to a better team on the road like Houston but we aren’t even playing hard. One thing Roy used to do when it was that was sub in all the walk-on and less players for a few minutes to send a message to the starters. Something I wish Bill would do.

I just don’t really remember a KU with less effort or energy than this one. Maybe the 2005 team that clearly quit on self

I think I’m going to ahead and turn this one off. We got 1 win in March I think that’s all we will get.

@BShark ya he has had a few guys that must of been terrible because he didn’t support them at all. Sam Cunliffe said Bill was one of the first guys to reach out after him and Evansville beat UK. He was at Silvio’s wedding, I think once he cares he always does to an extent.

I’m still hearing that Furphy is likely returning but I won’t get on a kid that goes first round. Guaranteed money for 3 years. I do think there is a chance if he stays he could go in the top 10 next season no question. Most the updated draft boards have him in the late teens or early twenties with his past few weeks not being so good. I would expect him to test the waters but it’s pretty risky if you are projected in the twenties to go thru with it.

The ladies have just won their 9th game in a 10 game stretch beating BYU in the second round of the big 12 tournament. Bracketogy has them safely in at a 9 currently and don’t see that changing a ton.

@BShark I honestly think he could’ve been helpful had they took red shirt a few months ago. But I applaud Self give him the chance to come back. I think it was a high character move that he didn’t have to do.
