@SlimShaddy54 I drank the Koolaid a couple of years ago when JD's name was being mentioned in the early Heisman talks. Since then, I think he'd be a good high school QB but not a good college QB. That's my opinion, I don't care what the stats say (I don't KNOW what the stats say). I just thinks he's a not great QB.

@approxinfinity I don't know him, but I can kind of empathize. I mean, I've been critical of players and coaches here, but at home - I'm an asshole. I really run my mouth to the point where it even bothers me. MY excuse is because I am so entrenched in all things KU I can't stand mediocrity ( or worse ) from them. I have extremely high standards for KU sports - especially basketball. So a lot of the bitterness stems from disappointment.
Either that or I'm just an asshole....

I don't like to watch gruesome stuff, especially if it's in real life. Did I hear correctly that the news was showing footage of the collision? If that's true, I would sue the living shit out of every station that broadcasted it. How would the families and friends like seeing that over and over and over?

I feel like everyone here WANTS me to be KU'S head coach. I would make each player sign a contract saying they will play 4 years at Kansas. They will get ZERO NIL dollars. If they're good enough, they can make their millions in the NBA (in four years) And if they don't sweat blood at every practice and game then they will think Bob Knight (like any of them know who he is...) was the sweetest little thing they ever heard of. I can start this Saturday.

I don't know what to make of this. Ok, we've had a low rate of transfer. So far. Because there are no regulations, the whole team could transfer next year. It's a stupid system that yields inconsistencies and the best players go to the highest bidders.
@SlimShaddy54 I'm just saying they might stay a year and then head to greener pastures. Green as in money.
It's fantastic that we're getting such great talent. It is not fantastic that next year they'll be going to whomever pays them more than KU.

@kjayhawks I'm definitely not the smartest. It's just self preservation, like you hinted at. College basketball has been ruined for me. The money and the ability to transfer on a whim has made it a mini NBA, which I also don't like. I miss the camaraderie/ angst of this site, but that's about it.
