I watched ESPN College Football Final this morning. For an hour. The only time they mentioned Kansas, it had a "State" after it. I did get to find out about all kinds of other schools though. Oklahoma School of Horseshoeing. Andover School for the Blind. Northwest Eastern College- South Campus.

@kjayhawks the Mizzou game will be won or lost between the ears. We've had the mindset for a long time that we're either really bad, meh or just ok. Mizzou (pains me to say this) has been pretty damn good for a while now. So if we can put the past to bed and concentrate on right now, we'll be fine.

I guess I'm weird. I haven't liked fireworks since I was probably 12 years old. I'll occasionally watch a sponsored fireworks show, but I don't shoot them off myself. I think the main reason is I can't justify literally burning money up.

@Texas-Hawk-10 believe be, brother, I'm familiar with alcohol and it's consequences. I've woken up under a lot of strange toilets in the past. I've been in bar fights because someone didn't like Black Sabbath (gasp). But I never raped anyone.
@SlimShaddy54 besides that - why forcibly? I remember thinking he's a pretty good looking guy, got a little fame and money. I have to believe thar the ladies would have been attracted to him. He's a dumbass. A criminal dumbass.
One very fond memory actually took place in Manhattan. A long time ago. Must have been the early 90's (it's not even 5am, don't feel like researching it).
For some reason I was at the game by myself. We got our assses handed to us the whole game. Just played awful, so I was pretty quiet.
We fought back slowly and by the last possession we were down 2, I believe. With 3 or 4 seconds left Steve Woodberry brought the ball up the court quickly and, with time running out, launched a loooong 3 point shot which he drained and we won by one point!
I launched out of my seat, arms raised, double fist pump and screamed "HELL YEEEEAAAAHHH!"
And everyone in the building heard me because, after Steve's shot, it got stone cold quiet in there and apparently I was the only KU fan there that day.
It was a long, tense walk to my car.

@approxinfinity I retired. It's very bittersweet because I loved my job and felt like I was pretty good at it, but the company had no leadership and every day was Jr High all over again. I'm thankful and blessed that I was able to retire, but I sure feel bad for the few good employees that are "left behind "
Well, I've been retired for 6 hours and 18 minutes. I'm just not sure what to think about it...
