If that kid can put on some muscle he's going to be a real force! Strength is easier to add than basketball IQ and people don't realize what he has to offer this team in the future. Nifty footwork, IQ, perimeter shot. We aren't used to having players like him going 6'10"!
I think there’s Drew Timmie potential with him. At minimum a more athletic Dedrick Lawson

@jessejayhawk you’re not wrong. I really do see where you’re coming from. It to me just gives a rough and more importantly, free gauge as to how the team is doing. You’re absolutely right that it doesn’t account for a lot of important variables.
Is there anything out there that does? That’s also free?
Ken Pom is not perfect by any means but it’s the best thing, I think, out there that accounts pace of each game and opponents vrs just the final score.
It’s hard for me to guess this outcome. In short, either the UK or the Baylor game was a fluke because that was 2 different Jayhawk teams playing athletic elite 8+ teams.
The difference between the 2 games was good Dave vrs butter finger Dave and Joe vrs Remy. I think this game will show us where we’re headed.
Gary Perish also mentioned the refs as a home field advantage at AFH. He did also mention that same advantage for Duke so it’s not all bias, but still aggravating.
I’m guessing they’re favored because they swept us last year?
