@DanR I was not a runner until about 15 years ago and hit my PB last fall in a 5K at about 29 minutes. Two thyroid cancer surgeries since then have been a little bit of a setback and a radiation treatment coming too, but I'll be fine. Radiation just taking care of a few cells that are still in there. I'm a year older than you, but we're kind of rarities to be doing this at all at this age. Keep it up.
I wasn't watching Saturday, and I didn't start the game thread then either so I feel good about this one.

I never once imagined that Wisconsin could be ranked above KU this year but it might be the case this week. Illinois' meltdown is headscratching. Had one game where they were missing a starter but otherwise, they've struggled. could drop to 14-8 today but they are coming back on OSU right now.

This is scandalous, outrageous, preposterous and otherwise ridiculous. You see, I've been a Bill can do no wrong type really until yesterday. Even though I didn't see the game, reading comments about Flory in particular on social media and then reading your Allan Shermanish rendition of a folk music classic I am now convinced that Bill Self is indeed making some strange decisions that can be explained in no other way than the man is toking up, lighting up, shooting up, snorting up, cooking up, and impairing himself beyond the ability to manage a game from his hallowed throne on the sidelines of one Phog Allen Fieldhouse.
I don't know what's wrong. KU should maybe bolster the schedule a bit. I didn't watch the game so not sure what happened today, but something seems to be wrong. Maybe they should get rid of adidas and become a pro keds school. IDK. Do a seance at midcourt purging the demons that are terrorizing our guys into momentary lapses into groggy basketball? It's strange I know, but there is time to find their footing.

@approxinfinity Pictures can be deceptive. Watch the replay and when the screen shot kjayhawks shared occurred. In my view he's gathering the ball to shoot, anticipating the foul, sure, but he's already given up his dribble when that still shot was framed.
The ball handling in the first half in particular was almost comical. I swear twice I remember guys just falling down while dribbling the ball with a little pressure on them. Storr passes a ball to a guys face from like 3 feet away. Someone jumps to make a pass thinking he's DaJuan and there's no one open to throw to.
@rockchalkjayhawk You made a lot of good points. AJ is definitely an open court type and I thought with the personnel changes last night that he might get to do so. But his limited time he did a few nice things but still showing he's trying too hard to make something happen.
Last night kind of felt like Self just told the guys just make sure you outscore them.
Mayo (where would we be without him) was frustrating. He was giving up jump shots and driving to try some off balance layup thing and they seemingly never went in. With all of the missed shots we had I'm not sure how we got to 91 except this may be Self's best FT shooting team and they made a boatload.
@drgnslayr KJ is valuable and the Houston game showed it. If his injury had kept him out again we lose last night.
