Missouri hasn't proven much this year. They've lost to Jackson St., Ken Pom 262 and Memphis, have no notable victories, with maybe a win over Pitt as their best. This team used to scare the daylights out of me each time we played them as records seemed not to matter too much. But their ineptitude since leaving the league is pretty shocking.

@nuleafjhawk Did a conference in Vegas once and as I stared at the machines while waiting to board the airplane home the battle in my mind was intense. The devil on one shoulder, go ahead, put your God given dollars in it, the Spirit on the other saying it's not your money, don't you dare! Went home without gambling a cent!

@Texas-Hawk-10 Yes, I agree, and it's one of about 10 reasons I'm pissed at the thought of college realignment. Can you imagine a conference as great as the Pac 10 no longer existing? It's just really mind blowing.
@nuleafjhawk 11 bucks and their product has gotten worse. I'm cutting peacock which means I'm missing a bunch of badger games too. Tired of these conferences making fans pay more to watch games when we're already paying the same network to watch games.

@nuleafjhawk Careers cut short of players who may have been the GOAT in their sport. Gale Sayers and Sandy Koufax. Sadly we'll not really know, but it's hard to argue against them.
@kjayhawks It's kind of early so however their metrics work, it leads to some oddities. Princeton #8 for example. But they're undefeated and 1-0 in quad 1 games (they beat Rutgers). Doubtful they're anywhere close. They're 51 in KenPom. Quite a difference.
@benshawks08 Houston, who's beaten nobody of great significance, is #1 in the net because they beat bad teams really well I guess.

Winnable game I'd say. Nevada is a common opponent whom we let back into the game. UNLV beat them a little more comfortably. I have nothing else right now.

I found it weird because they seem to review so much in the last minute or so anyway. But yeah, maybe a can of worms they don't want to open.
I've been beating this drum a lot. A bang bang play happens in the first minute of a game, that play can make a difference in final outcomes of a game if refs get it wrong. It makes zero sense.
Another end of game thing that bugs me is there's a play that the result is the clock stopping. Refs go and waste time looking to see if they need to add .45 seconds to the clock. Of course they don't do that any other time than then. If you want to get the game clock right, then do that on every stoppage. And of course, that would just be stupid.
I was looking at the same. I'm starting to be tempted by prices at Indiana. Low 60's when I looked yesterday. Was hoping I could be lured to Lawrence on one of my long weekends but like you pointed out 100+ and when stubhub grabs their 'service fees' whatever the heck that is, even 60 turns into 80 or more. It makes zero sense that the more you pay for a ticket the more the service fee.
18 Villanova goes down to Drexel. Tough weekend for the big east.

Kohl center was a factor in that one. During the Bo Ryan years it had a rep as one of the toughest places to play. Big seating capacity, tightly packed in seats and I've heard it very loud before. Today was like one of those old days. It's UW's 2nd ranked win holding Virginia to 41 last week.
@BShark He started slow, then got hurt against Rocky Top. Only made 2 threes all year. Hoping he breaks out of it. In a week from hell MSU Tuesday and then at Arizona next Saturday so not the easiest of times.

Some low key critics of the coach. Beating UConn was high priority for him and if he figured our best chance was to play a short bench I'm good with it. It worked!
