KU with still just one turnover so far. I dare say we will win if we keep that up. #hardhittinganalysis

4 bad offensive possessions in a row
I am fairly okay with Marcus taking an open three but it has been a bit disjointed.
Marcus the glove G
Okay sure...
Outside of Agbaji's terrible pass, I'm loving the lack of turnovers from us as well.

Lots of middle ball screens so far just like Jesse Newell discussed in a video.
Jesse is smart, though he has a lot of detractors for some of his poll decisions.

Nice little run...
We are rebounding. You love to see it.
MARC G DA SNIPER
Butler must be the hulk to make Doke fall like that :face_with_tears_of_joy:
No more entry passes from Ochai
Really we can review this crap this early? Ugh...
Literally hacked Doke as he dunked it.
That was a foul on Baylor #33
Scott Drew just ran the weave to success. Ha.
This is obviously a huge game, interested to see how the team responds. Marc G could be a big key today.
Seth picked us, we are doomed.
His first game back in a couple weeks. You knew it would happen.

I feel good. We are a much better team then the first meeting
Much healthier as well.
Oh boy, what happened in here.
We good.
@BeddieKU23 the auto bid should go to the regular season champion imo. The Southern is legit this year. ETSU, Furman and UNCG are all good.
@BeddieKU23 they are absolutely one of the best 68 teams but that's not what the ncaat is about.
WSU is crying again, this time about mean ole KSU.

Can't help but like the kid after reading Chasen's article. Wish him well wherever he ends up.
We are about to see a big difference between Bruce and Bill. Bruce won't send Cartier packing in season.

@Crimsonorblue22 I bet good money on Diarra transferring out after this season. Bruce has most likely lost this team. They have won all of 2 games so far this calendar year, 1 road win all season in OT vs UNLV on November 9th.. yikes lol I love it
Gonna go pro. To what league lord only knows...

Duke lost by 22 (!) ETSU looking like a dangerous mid-major.
They looked quite decent when we played them tbh.

Williams coming for an unofficial the 24th. Not much to see here unless we offer, which seems unlikely. Hunter Sallis is a big time target in 21 though.
I just don't see it with this kid. Not a p5 level athlete. Looks like a late emergency add if needed. He apparently won't decide until April so it seems like he is aiming high and hoping a big school gets desperate.
For this part, we’ll use Pivot Analysis’ analytics to break it down. When Azubuike is on the floor, Kansas allows just 86.5 points per 100 possessions, a ridiculously strong number that would be tops in the country. When Garrett is on the floor, the Jayhawks allow 89.7 points per 100 possessions. The defense has faltered in the 340 possessions they’ve played without Garrett, allowing 104.1 per 100 possessions. But it’s even worse in the 516 possessions Azubuike has been off the floor. The Jayhawks give up 106.1 points per 100 possessions with him off the floor, meaning they’re nearly 20 points worse per 100 possessions without their big man. And this isn’t just a situation where the number differential is boosted by garbage time minutes. Removing those situations (less than five minutes left when the margin is greater than 15 points) from the equation, Kansas is still 16 points per 100 possessions better when Azubuike is on the floor than when he’s not, and posts a 86.1 defensive rating in those non-garbage time minutes.
GOOD GAWD
@BeddieKU23 Hobo version of Jalen Wilson tbh.
Is this good? It seems good...
I sure do hope he gets drafted.

Donovan Williams went 1-15 from three with KU coaches (and probably lots of other coaches) in attendance.
ouch, not a good way to get yourself a big offer
Yeah, unsurprisingly I haven't seen anything about an offer from KU or Oregon (believe they are also "showing interest").

@BeddieKU23 not one I would figure KU to get.

Yeah, Bill is gonna put the hammer down.
Staff was out today. Self checked in on Kennedy Chandler and went to see Bryce. Other members of the coaching staff were up in Nebraska watching Sallis and Williams.
@BeddieKU23 love to see it

I don't like a defensive 3 seconds in college basketball because it would essentially outlaw most zone defenses. I like the scheme variety in the college game. Ok with the latter suggestion though. I'd also support shortening the shot clock to 25-27 and going to quarters to eliminate the 1 and 1.
I would allow all of this, absolutely.
Oh
It's Doke. We sucked without Doke last year, we drop off substantially when he is off the court this year.
Love Marcus though.
Thought this might be interesting to have a thread for and I'll do this going forward for future classes.
Tyon Grant-Foster season stats so far. It's easier to find stats for him since he is on a JUCO that actually has a website.
16 ppg 6rpg 2-3 assist to turnover ratio (not great!) 1 spg 1.5 bpg
Shooting 30% from three (not great) and 58% from 2 (!!!)
My guess is he plays the 3-4 for us exclusively. Doesn't look like a Self guard, but he will fight.
Gethro had a good game recently posting 25 and 12. I'm not sure what the deal is but the Aspire site only has 5 games for him. Averaging 18 and 10 in those games. 8-23 from three :eyes:
@Crimsonorblue22 G League
Let's check in on CyFan after the loss.
"You say Steve's seat isn't hardly warm but also acknowledge that we will likely be picked 8-10th in the Big 12 again next year which would be 3 out of 4 years. Is that the new acceptable standard of ISU mbb for Pollard if his seat isn't hot you think? "
I get where you are coming from. Obviously Frank and DTae were great, but people acting like Frank was massively better are um, they are just wrong.

Comparing their SO and SR seasons...which is unfair to Dot in a way but this is his last season so it's kinda fair. He is actually better on two pointers than Frank. Better BPM, better winshares. Raw rebound, assist, turnover numbers are close. FTA will end up close.
I would of course love for him to be back but I understand why he is going pro.
@Crimsonorblue22 he didn't mention Elijah so I would say you nailed it. Morris twins are super close with EJ.
@Crimsonorblue22 the overall stats were still there.
That said, he mentioned after the game this is the closest he has been to 100% healthy in a long time.
