Andrew Slater saying Tech taking the UNLV transfer is likely also to try and get Jon Kuminga.

@HighEliteMajor Exactly. I as am excited as the next person in regards to Silvio getting cleared. However; let's wait on declaring Silvio, who has played 175 minutes total at KU, a better player than TRob.

I am not sure how Braun and McBride find minutes. Maybe one but not both. And neither if Dotson, RJ and Wilson are all on the team.

@AsadZ I hope so too, but it hasn't happened yet. Thankfully the team can now deal with an injury to him, if one does happen.
@KUSTEVE Bill's hand will probably be forced in some match-ups for sure. Depends who is on the roster. Wilson you sell on being a guard/wing in recruiting but if needed in certain games you can play him at the 4. Don't think Enaruna is ready but could be surprised. Garrett and Agbaji could fill the role as well.

Right, if he gets recruited over for next year then yes he should leave. In this instance it's just a case of guys returning. Guys that will be gone next year and the path should be clear.
@FarmerJayhawk Seems like a lot of KU commitments lately announce on social media or just announce something at their school. Seems like Self/KU don't care how they do it, whereas some of the other bigger schools might to drive up hype?
Still feel great about Hampton though.
Adding RJ and Wilson to the class brings it back into the top 10 nationally. Would be pretty crazy after all that went down this last year.
I think Ochai is closer to Releford than a star guy. Which is fine, you need Relefords.

I think he and Self just needed an adjustment period as both are used to being THE BOSS. It's great having a real AD again, imo.

Agree on everything except wanting Grimes back. I'd roll the dice with finding minutes elsewhere even if we miss on RJ (I think we land RJ though fwiw).

Enaruna has said he wants to play but seems like a candidate. Mitch if he wants that 5th year in the program. Don't think you can RS Dave even if he is the 3rd C on the depth chart.
This is great news today, but iffy roster construction. Dotson is absolutely needed back still of course. One of RJ and Jalen is needed, but would greatly prefer both.

This is exactly how I see it as well. Self can make it clear Grimes is gone but until something is official you never know. Not that Self would lie about it but coaches do lie and I don't play Rod for having RJ wait toooo much.
