Tyshawn is likely one of their guards. TRob could also participate as the other big man, although they may need someone with more size since both Perry and Kevin Young are undersized. Xavier Henry could be an interesting addition, but probably won't be on the squad. They need at least one shooter, so someone like Tyrel Reed would be nice. Withey would be a great add to give them size. Most teams have at least one guy over 6-10, so having a footer will be important.

Tyshawn is the lower left corner silhouette IMO.

Correct. Trying to close on him before visiting those last two would be massive. Don't want him to make the ILL visit especially if possible.

Austin Trice is transferring from KSU. Iirc Frazier brought him in so VT could be the spot.

A rule to make Grad Transfers take 2 years of scholarship if they don't graduate was shot down.

UNC has much better player retention and guys that play for Roy typically stay longer than expected for whatever reason.

There is no guarantee. KU typically casts a very wide net in recruiting to try and find interested players. Maybe if KU targeted midrange players hard and lowered the amount of offers but that would make missing even more brutal so idk.

Our thought as KU fans is typically that yeah these players would be lining up but it's really not the case. Recruiting is about relationships and it might be time for an assistant change or two.

Releford confirmed.

Bruce lost his best recruiter who...went to VT at the same position. Interesting move as Frazier played for Bruce for 4 years at ILL and joined the KSU staff in 2012.

They will feel this one as Frazier is the guy that discovered and landed Brown and was their main recruiter period. He is responsible for basically their entire class this last year including Dajuan Gordon who will be a stud for them.

@Kcmatt7 A large portion of the fan base thinks that if KU offers a kid in the 50-100 range they will instantly jump on it. Simply not the case for example it appears we were never really in it for Beverly.

I'm sure KU will add some "guys" but will they be "dudes" is a fair question. The next couple weeks will be big.

We'd be hanging a banner with a SR Josh and everything else being equal but in that theoretical world more short term players would be staying in college I imagine.

He is a player I could see KU making a push for.

It honestly can't hurt that the Hamptons saw that Grimes continued to get huge minutes despite sucking out loud. Not that I think it would be an issue for RJ and he'd get huge tick anywhere but I think it does help that they know Self would help showcase RJ. Self also did a great job showcasing Wigs and Josh.

Oh and I would bet insane amounts of cash that TRob and Tyshawn are on this roster.

His dad has always been his AAU coach and they have been UA, Nike and Adidas.

If this will be literally just RJ's decision I do think the pick will be KU. His dad is large and in charge I believe though.
