I will say that I wish Mizzou hadn't left the B12 conference, because the KU-MU conference rivalry was probably the ugliest in the country--it actually meant something. But they fit in better with the SEC (Society of Ex Confederates) anyway.

I would not be surprised to see Mahomes back in time to get a few snaps for the monday night game against the chargers on Nov. 18. Then take a couple weeks off for the bye. But, seriously, the chiefs have to get at least one more QB on the roster for the next month. Sherman is the backup? Moore's entire college and pro career is based on going in to sub for injured starters when NOT INJURED HIMSELF. He's no iron man. Chiefs need another actual QB.
Moore had couple good passes yesterday, and I have nothing against the dude, but the guy does not look to be in the peak of conditioning. Is he capable of even going four quarters?

I'm going to stock the beer fridge to capacity every week and enjoy this season however it ends up.
Like I do every year.
But... this will be the best/most experienced team since 2011-12 (Withey/TRob/SeniorTyshawn/Young/EJ/TravisRel/ etc.) with more depth. TRob and Withey vs. Doke and Silvio. Hmm. plus Senior Mitch to create some havoc and set some killer screens. Tyshawn vs. Dotson. 5 guys to fill the other two spots. No head cases, no OAD players, and shouldn't be any mid-season suspensions.
I really, REALLY, like all the returning players. Dotson, Silvio and Doke staying for another year is pretty amazing. Those guys deserve some love. I'm not sure what will happen in the next couple years, but this year has potential to be special.
It just dawned on me that with Preston playing in the border war revival clash against the slavers at the Sprint Center, the Jayhawks will probably have to forfeit that game.
Along with all the wins in Italy. Pitt State and Fort Hays have bragging rights as well.
