Saw the score was 21 - 12 right before the Fl game ended and when the stream switched, the score was 21-19!!

I think it's good to have rankings, because you can track the progress of your team, and measure it up to how other rivals/teams are doing. But other than that, it doesn't mean anything other than pride.
I personally don't care what rank KU is, as long as it is in the top 10 :smiley: I'd much rather KU NOT be ranked #1 during the season.

I can't imagine what KU will be like once they figure out their post game. And to be honest, I hope they don't figure it out until middle of conference season, and ride a complete package basketball team all the way to the National Championship.

KUs trip to the title is just 1 year delayed is all.

I wouldn't be shocked if it was a mental/confidence issue for LL. IIRC, it was around the time Self asked his players who they wanted to be the 5th starter, when LL really stepped up his game. Maybe he feels it's just a matter of time before Dok takes over the starting job, and he's worrying and thinking too much.

The only thing that worries me at this point of the season is Landen Lucas playing like the 2nd half of last season never happened for him. And I think Carlton Bragg is a little behind what everyone thought he would be.

Can you imagine Andrew Wiggins on this team? Rather than 2013 with the only upper classmen being Nurse Tharpe?

I don't think you're going to shoot 25% for the rest of the season when they shot 40%+ last year.

It's still crazy to me how big Doka is.

I don't think you can keep Moose and Hoz post 2017. Depending on where the Royals are at the trade deadline, if you had to trade one, I'd trade Hoz. He would probably net the most return, and for all the talk Hosmer gets, his numbers are a little underwhelming.

Can't wait for the season opener. Gonna be a fun first 2 games.

I'm happy for Chicago, and it was awesome seeing everyone in a great mood today. Wasn't too happy last night though trying to get some sleep, and everyone in my apartment building was yelling "GO CUBS" till 4am.
