When we went up 28-26 I thought we could play well and get a little separation at the half. Poor last few possessions kept us from doing that.

@BeddieKU23 I was hoping to play either ISU or OSU in the 2nd round (assuming of course that we win round 1) and let Baylor and WVU beat up on each other. Potentially playing Baylor and then WVU would be tough right before the real tourney.
But you play whomever you are matched up with.

@HighEliteMajor Bragg got 2 quick fouls I believe? Then because of Coleby's play....never got much of a chance. But I sure would like to have seen him follow up last game with at least a decent one.

@BShark MSU played well the other night........I think they are in.
A long way to go, but a decent chance that our path is something like....... facing a big 10 team such as Michigan or MSU as an 8 or 9, then maybe another (Wisconsin or Purdue_ as a 4 or 5, then likely one of the Pac 10 teams as a 2.I say this because we could likely have a Big 12 team in the 8 or 9 and 4 or 5 (like WVU) which pushes those other teams toward us.
Please vote. We want Frank to pass the big guy from Gonzaga.
Good stuff from Coleby. Would have been nice for Bragg to play well after last week's game....but Coleby played so well that he couldn't give Bragg much time. I did see that we had 2 bigs in the game twice during the game....very briefly, though.

Well.....Once again this team plays just well enough to win. I guess if they can do that 6 times during a certain 3 week period we'll be happy with that.

So people on this site complain about Fran, Dougy, or V...none of these guys have ever really bothered me....I just concentrate on the game.
These 2 clowns tonight......they talk about NOTHING. It has really bothered me. Incredibly distracting. And as someone pointed out.............the split screen is EXTREMELY annoying.

Can't believe Coleby stayed that far off Allen. We didn't hustle after that airball. Don't want to let them back in this.

ISU going to win courtesy of dumb plays by Baylor. Also a banked 3 by Burton. At least he does that against teams other than us.

@TRUBLUE But that fact doesn't seem to stop player after player going to the draft when it appears that staying another year would be good for them.
So it is not a felony because they could not identify that it was Jackson that did all of the damage. They could only positively say he did some of it. It was said there were a lot of people involved. I can buy that, I guess...But ...he will not be suspended. That is not a good look.
@JayHawkFanToo Who finishes 2nd? Yes, it looks like WVU would appear to have a slight advantage. If I had my druthers, I would like ISU to be the 4th seed..........I would rather potentially play them in the 2nd round (payback!) and let WVU and Baylor (theoretically) beat up on each other before we (again, theoretically) play them.
We played better defense, but they missed some shots in the 2nd half....seems like a long time that the opposition hasn't hit seemingly every open shot at AFH

@HawkChamp Fair enough. Maybe....the march toward playing consistent defense is a work in progress.
Really good to see Bragg step up. Last year he would have hit that little jumper though. Team Defense is still a work in progress, I guess.
Agree that they system does not make sense. I think what is holding us back...in this system....is that we have not blown anybody out in quite a while......victory margin counts in this system if I understand correctly.

I think the answer, most of the time, to your question is....Yes, only KU. With a few exceptions...mainly when we go on the road! I notice this all the time when I watch other B12 games.
@JayHawkFanToo Everything you say makes sense and points to why a player should go back to school....but I think sometimes these guys are just tired of being a student and want to make money playing bball............if not the NBA.....overseas is the backup plan.

WSU was underseeded when they beat us. Plus, they don't have near the guards that they had then. CF starts. He's not near the same player that the other 2 were. Our guard play is much better than theirs.........even if their front line outplays us........I think we would match up very favorably against WSU.
@Kcmatt7 Agree. Self always says it's not who starts but who is in at the end. Continue to start Svi, but play Vick more if that is who is playing better.
