Based on our history against Drew and in Waco...I say KU in a close game.
@BeddieKU23 The team that we played in 2012 in the tourney (I think?) was pretty decent as I recall. But other than that I thought he has been pretty underwhelming there.
@jayballer54 I don't think Gottfried has done all that much. Has he?
@drgnslayr Plus he can hardly bench someone for not playing defense...he's only got one sub on the perimeter.

Agree 100%. Just need some depth. I hope Bragg is back.
I know there are a lot of recruiting services and gurus. But 2 people from Rivals are saying OU.
I think their track record late in the game is pretty good...I am assuming OU.

@kjayhawks KSU has an easier schedule, I believe, for the rest of the conference season. That might give them enough wins........but they are not helping themselves.

@drgnslayr I don't really know if he is a good head coach or not. Certainly we believe he was a good big man coach.
Sometimes the most talented players aren't necessarily the best coaches.
@jayballer54 I didn't think we had a chance until we got the margin to 6. I don't have a problem with those folks leaving.......fans can do what they want. Plus, as someone pointed out, it wasn't really that many. I did think later that if a lot of fans had left........we might not have won without the raucous environment.
@ZIG I understand Dickie V saying that about the fans........the reason that the sight of our fans streaming out with 3 mins. to go is news is that it never (or very rarely) happens.
I started to disagree with him.........fans can do whatever they want.......doesn't make them bad fans........just makes them fans that want to beat the traffic. We all have to admit that a comeback seemed highly unlikely. But as I thought about it after.......if a lot more would have done that............we probably wouldn't have won without the noise and excitement. .I probably would have been one of those that left my seat and then watched from the entry to the concourse.
When we cut it to six I thought we finally had a chance.......then I thought we blew it first when Devonte turned it over, and then 2nd when we fouled when we were down 3.......didn't seem like we needed to do that.
But it worked out.
@Crimsonorblue22 To me it looks like Bragg just lacks confidence and is playing too tentative. Like that missed layup....
@stoptheflop I agree. I keep waiting for a comfortable win at home......just hasn't happened.
@drgnslayr None of us really have a clue...but like you I try to read what might be happening based on Self's recruiting. I think both Svi and Graham would be better of coming back...but that does not mean that they will. My guess? Neither of them are back. I hope I am wrong.
@drgnslayr I think we win......if WVU is really hot from the outside......maybe not. But I think we'll win.

My belief is that officials miss calls on both sides because they are human. Sometimes it helps us, sometimes it hurts us. Just like every other team. Also, being that the refs are human, the home team often gets a slightly favorable whistle.
@HawkChamp I was just thinking the same thing about Devonte....came to mind when I looked at the number of FT attempts. Devonte should be, I think, closer to Frank and Josh in number of attempts. He is as capable as either of them (well, almost, not as long as JJ of course), but he did drive more last year..........and he can make FTs (but not as high a % as last year). But if we had 3 guys driving.......I see that as a good thing.
I like our chances tomorrow. WVU is very beatable as long as you handle their press..........I know what happened in Morgantown.......it wasn't their press that beat us. But we're playing at home.
If WVU is hot...not just good, but hot from 3 pt....then we could be in trouble...but you could say that about most teams. Otherwise, I think we win.
@Crimsonorblue22 He moved several feet and was still moving when the guy ran into him.....so I exaggerated a bit..............it looks like a clear moving screen.
Geez, based on that clip, LL was moving all over the place.
@jayballer54 The defense really worries me.........we play good defense in stretches, but overall not that great. TT scored way too much in the 2nd half.

@kjayhawks Yes. Bad finish to the half. Dumb foul by Frank, Uncharacteristic missed FT by Vick. At least we got the layup by Bragg to make it a respectable lead at half........but should be more.
We've had some wide open 3's.....we knew it was only a matter of time before they start to go down! Leave our guys open at your peril TT!

I get a kick out of WVU's assistant coach in the background. The white haired guy. He's always like the designated disbelief guy. Very demonstrative when calls go against them.
