Well, they're in the 1/1 awfully early.

@Woodrow Yes, that was my main concern when I heard about Marcus.....he is our best chance at limiting damage by Culver.

@mayjay Very well stated regarding the fact that the NCAA can only punish on the evidence they have. But I can't help but feel like many others. It's tough to be punished when you really believe that others (Duke, Kentucky, whomever) have done similar things, and, for the moment at least, get off scott free. I agree...we need to take our punishment....but fair punishment based on what has happened in other instances.
@jayballer73 If the belief is that neither Doke nor Dedric are coming back...that would seem to work in our favor for getting Hurt...he slides right in there next to Big Dave.
@KUSTEVE It's ridiculous. I think the NCAA is also making an example, trying to puff their chest and try to act tough, because this is related to the FBI investigation.
Who knows, but I will guess we end up at 12-6 in the conference. I think we have a decent chance of improving enough to win a couple of road games. That means we have to win all the games at AFH...tough chore given what we saw last night, though.

Agree. Inconsistent Vick, Q not performing like projected, Doke hurt. That adds up to, overall, not as good a team as we thought. i'm not even counting SDS, because I didn't really think he was ever in the picture.

There should be a rule that Vick bounces the ball no more than 3 times. Shoot spot up jumpers and cut to the basket only.

@HighEliteMajor It appeared that Garrett is trying to be the man. On two of the final possessions, he drove it. One problem is that he is not good from the line...like Mason or DG. I love the guy and he is doing more and more....but his offensive skills don't equate to being the man.
We have two freshmen guards and Vick is what he is...he is not a leader. Bad plays down the stretch.
So Tech has now lost at home and lost a winnable road game. No longer in the drivers seat. Right now..KSU is playing the best ball. Hopefully, they will be like the KSU we know and love and have a stretch of games where they don't play well. We will see.
@jayhawkcsg Your last sentence summed it up....really bad loss that hurts our chances of winning #15.
After further reflection...and a couple of glasses of wine....I just can't believe that on two straight possessions, we ended up with Garrett trying to score off of the drive...I know he has been doing that well lately...but our first option should be Dedric, or Vick (when he is OPEN) or Dotson driving...since he is a good FT shooter....Garrett should drive when those options aren't open...
Tell me folks...Am I wrong about this??
