JD6 back would be big. Was sad to see Morrison leave

LL going to have to earn his money this season. I’m honestly a bit worried this offseason could get ugly. Off to about as bad of a start as I could have imagined…

They sagged off on the pick and roll and dared our guards to shoot tough floaters/contested layups over length.

They basically took Hunt out of the game with this too.

Bill will get that fixed. This is also where Rylan and Storr will learn these are their games to shine. They are basically giving you a free driving lane right at the big man, and if they just go up strong it’s and easy bucket/foul.

This was a game you pencil in as a loss to start the season. Not concerned at all yet

Pop Issacs is just easily the best player on the floor tonight. We didn’t bring crap on either end and had an unfriendly whistle. Whether we needed it or not this is a wake up call.

so torn on how I feel rn. This team could so easily be in the conversation for the playoffs.

But also so happy this team had the grit to bounce back.

LL continues to prove that he has this program on the rise though. Just beat the shit out of a good team.

Well, i'm no NBA scout. But he really doesn't have any other basketball skills worthy of a pro. You posted above that IF he had a corner jumper he PROBABLY is a pro.

But he doesn't have a corner jump or any jumper really.

I think my argument is that KJ is athletic enough, handles the ball well enough, passes the ball well enough, and definitely guards well enough, that if he could shoot a jumper he would be an NBA caliber player.

They switched everything when he played the 5 still. Regardless it is one of the dumbest things this fanbase has focused on in recent memory. Are we getting dominated in the boards every night? No we have a footer averaging a double double and a footer coming off the bench for him with highly productive rebounding.

We don’t need KJ to get 7 rebounds a game.
