Well said! He's one cool cat under the circumstances. We've never had such national attention brought to one player. I'm sure Wilt was a big deal at the time but he didn't have the scrutiny of the instantaneous news cycle not to mention twitter updates on class attendance.
Ever notice how well he reacts to poor officiating? He doesn't cry or scowl but simply carries on above the fray.

Preemptive explanation for my awful bracket:
- Always pick Hawks cuz I REALLY expect to beat all the other sorry lesser schools!
- Always pick w my heart instead of my head. See point #1! I also have ISU in F4, KSU beating UK & WSU, SDSU in F4, etc.
- I only fill out one bracket cuz it feels non-committal to have multiples.
For the record, I picked KU to win it all like every year since the early 90's. One bracket, one hope. LET'S GET IT ON!!!

@wissoxfan83 Great point about no more hostile crowds...I hadn't thought of that. These pups will play better in our quasi-home in KC and neutral courts in the madness. I hope these pups take every possession SERIOUSLY from here on out! This isn't AAU where you get to play five games a day and shrug off a loss in 15 min....

I now feel justified in voicing my displeasure. Remember the last two years when Tharpe would get jerked out of the game after one mistake? Well, now he's staying in the game way too long ala EJ last year.
We need our PG to "manage" the game. Don't turn it over and get the ball to the scorers. That's it. Just don't screw it up.
I assume it's too late to change course now. But I still feel CF could do the job. Tonite he snapped the ball around the perimeter and got it to the right people all without launching one shot. If he played 30 minutes we would have won. IMHO.
@ajvan BRILLIANT! I've always wondered why OKC is such a great pro basketball town? It's smaller than KC and in a football state (or so I thought.) No other pro sports in town I suppose.
But would the Chefs detract from NBA basketball? Why did the Kings leave? Kemper wasn't in best part of town w few restaurants...but Sprint Center and surrounding area is pretty cool.
Maybe Larry Brown could be the first coach?

@HighEliteMajor I really miss BEATING them w regularity for over 100 yrs! On the court it wasn't as competitive as other "rivalires" but we all know how far back it went. Crazy stat of the day:
