Exactly, I can't stand when defenders are just trying to take advantage of the rule by simply moving into someone's way at the last second without even trying to make a legit basketball play.

I’m looking forward to watching Marcus Garrett run point next year. I don’t necessarily think it’ll be an upgrade over Dot, but I don’t think it’s as much of a downgrade as most. Obviously he’s not as explosive, but he makes up for it with his IQ. If he can continue to improve his shooting, he’ll be an absolute nightmare for other teams. Of course, in typical MG fashion, it won’t be flashy, but you’ll look after and see his stats and the W and think, Wow. This kid’s good. And that’s not even counting his defense.

Watching a replay, why were they booing Dotson from the beginning?

So what's the health status of Sutton? Does he have a particular disease? Or just old age? Alcoholism?

I’m kinda the same on this. I’m surprised this stuff doesn’t happen more often. The kids screwed up, that’s what kids do, that’s what adults do. Not justifying it at all, they need to pay the price. But it’s much more of a story if we talk about how ridiculous it is. But I don’t think it’s that ridiculous. Putting myself in these kids’ shoes, I can’t sit here and say I would’ve done anything differently. Doesn’t make it right, but it’s not ridiculous to me. Mike Tyson biting an ear or Artest going into the stands. That fits the bill for ridiculous.

And Bill Self wasn’t included! This was Dickie V’s list. It included Wright, Izzo, then the big 3 (K, Roy, and Cal).

First I couldn’t believe that Self wasn’t included, especially with the 2 Final Four appearances and all the conference titles.

But then the other guys either have a title or more final four appearances. Not saying I agree with the criteria, but I can’t really argue with it either.

KU ain’t playing great but these refs are missing all kinds of calls. How is it a tie up when one guy is out of bounds? And novas guy was CLEARLY inside the cylinder.

Playing devils advocate, is it because it gives them more license to penalize the players as much as they want without having to deal with the limits of their bylaws?

Things that barely ever happen: Person A suggests person B is stupid. Person B therefore decides to be quiet.

If we can avoid claiming mental superiority over each other, we will get along much better.

Yeah I think he stays. Maybe 20 years ago he heads to the league. But now the players run it and he can’t exert his alpha as much. He has a college coach personality and he owns Lawrence.

And if he went pro he’d still have to recruit, especially to San Antonio. And especially in today’s NBA where players are demanding trades more than ever.

Absolutely. Great thread, love MG. His defense, moves his feet so well. Always so poised. And had such an amazing, clutch (reverse?) layup in the final minute of overtime.

Would love to see what this guy could do at the next level. Still needs to work on his shot, but he plays with wisdom beyond his years.

Giving Tristan a hard time tonight, but I should mention it looks like his effort is better. Just not his mind quite yet.
