Bill Self can't get into the dorm without a resident letting him in. The team was in KC. So it was either non-player resident or a guest. Since five players are listed as witnesses, while not present when the event occurred, that means they likely have seen the victim and/or the accused in the building. They didn't see or participate in the rape. They had no chance to stop it. This shouldn't reflect upon the character of the team.
There was a rape on a college campus? In a dorm? Sorry if I'm not surprised. It's horrible, but all too common. If one of the team had done it we'd know by now, they wouldn't be listed as witnesses but rather as suspects. It is news, but not basketball news. There are precious few details of the event and nothing new. There has been more news print on this than most murders that occur in Kansas.

The rape should be a non-basketball story that gets this much pub. How many rapes per year in Kansas? Why don't they get any attention? All those women deserve justice.
More disturbing to me is Vick getting away with striking a woman. Hooking Bragg up with his ex who then got Bragg into hot water (I might be mis-remembering this one). Aggravating another to the point of getting Josh involved in a mob scene.

My seven year old who randomly picked teams out of the air has a bracket almost as good as Jay. Hahahaha. He has VCU losing to KU in the championship game. With that pick he may pass up Mr Williams at the conclusion. Hehehe
My worst bracket is better than those and I have only watched about 30 minutes of non-KU games and a few hours of sports center all year. I do read ESPNs site daily, but as you can see their info may not be the most useful.

@mayjay When it's your first Sweet Sixteen since 73, It's probably pretty difficult create much interest. I'm surprised Frank would go to such a program. Heck of a job he's doing this year. Wish he was in Little man-hattan. That place could use some class and a great coach.

@drgnslayr In that video it says that Bill Self and Izzo have 11 combined final fours. That MSU has 9 total. So Izzo has 100% of MSU's final fours? It seems like they had earlier success too.
Never mind I looked Izzo has 7! Final Fours. Wow! But only one championship ouch!!! They must be crediting Bill with two of Roy's final fours. As far as I recall it's just 2008 and 2012.

Here's an opportunity to start a new bracket at the sweet sixteen. Discard that busted bracket and enter one in the second chance challenge. The number of entries is unlimited, but it's more sporting to only enter one instead of 25!

@drgnslayr The most common/free ip spoofers only have a handful of IP address that you can use. Many are just used to change your region so one could redeem European UV codes in the US or vice versa. Of course there are more dubious uses.
If votes from the same IP address are thrown out or blocked daily each service I've seen only has 20-100 ip addresses, so one person could throw in a couple hundred votes a day. But only one person could use it per day.
If you want to vote multiple times per day all you have to do is clear your cookies or use private mode. This won't change your IP address so the votes will likely be thrown out at the end. I imagine this is most of the cheating votes.
I'm just voting once per day. If you have multiple routers you can vote more than once per day. Just vote once on each router from a device. Cell phone, office, home wifi. No way to filter that out yet, as long as you use different devices.

Only 18 brackets out of 18.8 million that have the sweet 16 correct. It takes a rare hybrid fan a S. Carolina/Michigan fan to get it correct.
Duke was in the final four of around 8 million of the 18.8 million brackets. Including 7 of mine.

@kjayhawks I look more at the top 25 record. I filled out a random bracket with that being the only predictor. It worked out pretty good as no school can top KU's 9 top 25 wins (9-3 record).
I look more at the people who have money at stake. If Vegas has KU as an 8 pt favorite then that is good sign of popular opinion. If the masses think KU is an 8 pt favorite, that gives KU a good chance to win. But KU is horrible against the spread so far this season so look for a 5pt game unless the full throttle play (like against UC Davis) continues.
I would be very happy with a blowout, but expect a tight game.
