According to Jessee Newell it was KU was the one that wanted different. and was Backed by the Big 12 Commissioner , some thought maybe KU going this route to reach a settlement where punishment might be less severe, - -BUT also might be the other way too - - who knows. - let's just get this over.
Like they said the longer this thing drags out it STILL has a effect on our recruiting

just heard our local sports talking with Jessee Newell about this latest IARP update asking him to try and clear things up like if things were leaning more towards KU walking clean nothing to worry about really and he responded NO - actually he had been hearing lately things were not looking good for KU. - -He was saying for people thinking KU was gona be fine and not to worry , he said that' not what he had been hearing from people at all - - so I dunno

Here in Topeka in Shawnee Co we have 5 Walmart's. - -all FIVE Walmart's have reported they have employees with COVID. One of the five has 51 employees that tested positive, I'm just being a hermit/homebody - not really out a lot on top of that I'm down again anyways . another pending surgery, gonna be awhile though because all of the Hospitals postponing surgeries unless life threating because of ICU beds and other being full and COVID cases and shortages of personnel.
I'm almost in mobile.- -I have 2 bulging discs and pinching cyatic nerve, cause huge problems. This is going to be my FORTH back surgery previous have been on my lower L-4 - - L-5 , they have inserted a spacer on my left side and have titanium screws in my back and fused . - -now they are going to put a spacer on my right side and more fusion & more screws- -this time on my L-1 L-2 - -awaiting approval of insurance on my MRI on spine , they wanting to do another MRI on upper spine to make sure they not missing anything and checking nerves - then have to wait approval from insurance on Surgery it'self - - lots of hurt at present hard to move. Got to steer clear of groups incase on Contact tracing.
Gonna see how serious the fans are in the mandate of mask wearing at the KU game at the phog. - -If not then like they said were headed to limiting capicity - -AGAIN --let's not go there, don't have that I don't give a dam I'm NOT WEARING a mask. just wear the dam thing -- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Anyone else happen to catch this game , especially the ending ? -holy cow , that game was just insane. Chargers and Herbert down late and I mean like just a little over or right at two minutes, Herbert facing 2 & ten - - 3rd & ten - multiple 4th & ten and just kept coming through - - Clutch- -that last drive to force over time ws like they said like a 20 play - -ya 20 plays over like 75 yards and like scored with like what 3 seconds to go not quite sure but the TD came on the last play of regulation - -still down two - - and I'll be darn if they didn't get the two point conversion - - making it I believe 29-29.
The announcers kept saying this is nuts it was like 4 or 5 forth and 10's Herbert converted. Every time he pulled it off I just had to sit back and say this is insane/nuts - -then they take turns with FG'S and then Carrdrives Las Vegas down the field and they pull if out unbelievable game

Just really bad calls - -missed calls , no calls. I've always heard , been told and even agreed with . still do for the most part and that is a bad call by the officials did not cost us this game - -yes that's true , BUT multiple poor calls, YES that could very easily cost a game -just really bad calls

He no doubt wins regular season stuff but same titles as Scott Drew and about to be passed in the next 2-3 years I’d say. Wright, Roy, K....ect. It’s the reason Cal isn’t that great X’s and O’s But he gives his kids long leashes. Lose some in the regular season but be better prepared for the tourney which is more important.One is improving the other is going backwards (Drew vs self).

I am not totally discounting what you say. I thought that Tristan should have had more playing time, ditto now Adams and Clemence. But am not on board with Self being replaced. Am on board with him being not so loyal to certain players while they are not producing, and making lineup changes when and if necessary.
can't agree with Adams & Clemence - -Adams is way to offensive challenged at this point to play extended minutes in Big 1 play & Clemence get tossed aside like a rag doll at this point and also is ANOTHER defensive liability , just not ready

We just look out of kelter , no other way to say other then our defense is just terrible. - not sure what the kenpom rankings defensively where we stand but I know were dead last in the big 12 and it showed. Beat time and time and time again in the lane. It hurts we have no inside presence defensively -well we have no inside presence offensively either.
We just look choppy on offense no flow none of smooth flow just out of sync , forced shots , bad shots , missed shots -baad rebounding getting beat today by like 10 I believe mercy got to clean things up and soon
