When you have put up 23 points in over 24 minutes of play - - -that's bad , but I seen this coming

Well another tough road test today, They are trying to do a whiteout , been passing burgers and hotdogs to the students, hell that's almost like a weekly thing here isn't it lol ? I would like to see KU just come out and play a really solid game from start to finish and shut people up. - Juan has to be solid, control the ball better , more like the old Juan. Hunter needs to dominate although we know they will double/triple , hack , flop whatever be ready for physical - -Gonna be loud- stay focused , put they can go through scoring droughts too, not that impressive on offense, don't want a very average 3 point shooting team come out and hit 57 % from the three like WV did. Saw were recruiting Tajh Ariza # 13 in the class 6'6 wing - -his dad played NBA for 18 yrs I really don't remember him but he said even though he went to another school,, he was staying out of son's recruitment saying it was going to be his decision, no pressure to go to dad's School. Anybody know anymore on him ?
Does anyone know are we still recruiting Xavion Staton- -? - -A Seven foots from Las Vegas. -He has over 30 offers, thing going for us w was in on him quick. Kinda raw still on the offensive end but getting better and is really good defending the rim - Schools involved early - - Ku , UNLV , California , & Maybe Gonzaga. Exactly was I was going to bring up - - Watch out Saturday , I guess there CAN BE controversy on officiating other then at the Phog. How do teams get any kind of a flow when there is that many interruptions?
As a former ref myself I've heard and seen both sides. - They say you know when a game has been officiated well you won't even know there were refs there , Then I also know if a official wanted to be a big enough ass he could call some kind of a foul every single time down the floor. Last Night was just horrible

True I can see what you mean on it. Believe me even though I have no kids where they need to focus on sports but understand on phones. We used to have daughter with that problem, not so much now although still staying focused even now remains an issue, but she would used to come to visit us/well mainly mom but she would come see us and the whole time she was here she would be glued to her phone texting friends/guys - I asked her on multiple occasions did you come to see us OR did you come just to bury your face in that dam phone, I said hell if you wanna just sit thee and do nothing but text while w are trying to have a conversation with you - - -you could do that at home , very frustrating

Were blessed very true, plus we are very spoiled fans. We have rough stretch's and we panic - - -me included, lots of 2nd guessing goes on , from players to Coach's to Ma Kettle cooking possum. Like has been mentioned by BShark when you think about it every team goes through rough stretch's at some point. Hell Kentucky lost to South Carolina last night , not only lost but got curb stomped by 17- - Kentucky is/or was the 6th ranked team and got curb stomped. Kentucky fans are ready to string Coach Cal up- -from one loss. They do that after every loss. Just the nature of fans I guess. -- When we lose , just doesn't happen that often and when we do - - people think the moon going to fall from the night sky, the Earth stands still - -It's going to be ok , I'm telling myself that just as much for myself as anyone else , these are 19-20 yr old kids--- -it happens. Like I posted earlier, saw last night that this year the top ten ranked teams have lost twenty two times to unranked teams, the most in AP history, We just got to bring our A game -- night in -- -Night out

Not saying this about anyone here but I think, caught up in the Bill Self era that a large number of fans definitely take it for granted.
KU is having "KU problems" this year. So..not a dominant team. Still merely top 20 on kenpom. All while missing the projected preseason starter at the 2.
Most programs have a true down year here and there. Calipari has missed the tournament at Kentucky, Coach K missed once at Duke, UNC has rough patches etc... Even strong resources don't guarantee success, you also need a great coach. At some point in the future when we are far past the Self era KU will have a true rough patch, and Self will be remembered even more fondly.
Plus another one to add, Gonzaga not even top 25 how long has it been since they have not been some where in the top 25 ? - -They are having a rough time
Guys as frustrating it is , how mad we might get at the time , like our losses to UCF -WV - -heard this in the Kentucky, South Carolina game tonight - -just think , just might put things in perspective.
Top 10 teams this year have lost so far have lost Twenty Two times to unranked teams - - Twenty Two times ! ! - This is the most in Associated Press History, takes a little bit of the edge off these losses. - -Doesn't make things totally better but it's happening to other top 10 teams too.
Kentucky is getting beat by SEVENTEEN to South Carolina right now with like 2:20 left in the game. - -Announcer said and is right about this, he was asked what is making it so hard for top ten teams to win against these unranked teams - -His response was , when your a top ten team you have that target on your back and playing on the road. - -At least both of your losses to these teams were on the road.

Everyone else played like they needed a nap. And we can't use the excuse that they play too many minutes. They do.. but so do other players in college basketball that still come to play.
We need some leadership. We need someone stepping up now and taking charge... someone to lead, cheer lead, bring energy, help establish team pride, help establish team identity.
I can see this team losing 8 - 10 games this year. Because of our wins on top teams, it should help keep our NCAA appearance string alive.
It doesn't have to be like this. We can play with anyone if we decide to.
I know this also , these two losses does not look good on our resume. I'd be willing to go out and say- -THIS Team will not be a # 1 seed come Tourney time, especially if they lose 8-10 games like you say - -I can seee them losing 8 anyways - -just not good
