Thought one of the announcers of the West Virginia/Missouri game brought up a pretty good point - -really hadn't given that my thought until he brought it up.
He was saying the way things are transitioning to guard oriented, talking about that the quality - - that the guards are not nearly as good as they use to be at making the post entry pass to the Big fella's.

See these announcers are all ready talking about good chance of Tennessee up setting KU. Talking about little depth for KU because of suspensions.
I get that, ya it makes us thing - -BUT what the y don't seem to understand is actually these suspensions aren't as bad as what they could of been.
Silvio barely see Court time anyways , well at least up to this point in time , maybe like 5 minutes a game , he has been pretty much of a non factor anyways for us.-- McCormack ya plays more minutes - - BUT Coach has usually been taking him out and going 4-1 more and more. More of a factor, but not a huge difference maker - - more actually quite a bit more of a 4-1 then 3-2 lately , as long as Doke stays out of foul trouble , we are going to be fine in this 2 game suspension & today -- Enaruna can give him spot relief, wish Jalen was available but I think the media is over blowing this

@kjayhawks I've lived in both Bigger and Smaller towns here in Kansas and Texas & Colorado.
In Colorado had the time of my life , of Course I didn't live or deal with the bigger Cities , and I loved it didn't have to deal with people where I was at. Lived in a little town named Hayden Colorado , about 30-40 minutes away from Steam Boat Springs , loved it Could sit on the porch and hear the stream running - -closest neighbor about 5 miles away Sweet Mountain face right at the edge of the back yard loved it - -WHY did I ever come back lol.
Lived in San Antonio Texas can't really judge that scenario that well cause umm active Military at that time , it was ok I guess maybe just wrong place at wrong time lol.
Yet now you said you didn't like Wichita ? I loved Wichita for the size of the city very easy to get around , had no overly problem with the people , sure you had some but what city doesn't ? - -Lots to do very easy to find things to do. Use to love to go watch the Minor league Baseball team there. - Then also lived in out lying area in a little town by the name of Benton Kansas about half way in between Wichita and El Dorado , loved it there just a little hole in the road but very nice little country town

Read a pretty good article from the Athletic. Pretty much says what some have said and that was actually what more does Coach Self have to gain from remaining here?
Hall of Fame College Basketball Coach , Six time Big Twelve Coach of the year , Three Final fours , Fourteen Straight Conference Championships & National Championship , the article says what's there to gain other possibly maybe a couple more Championships ?
They make the statement talk about the possibility of him leaving the College ranks come up one or twice a year and KU people kin of just blow it off saying that would never happen
Like they said though there may just come a point and come soon that Coach Self having to deal with this last accident of the whole KU/Kstate brawl , the NCAA investigation that many feel that the NCAA is going to come down very hard , Coach very easily could decide he just had enough of these types of things and decide he wants to test the NBA waters while his name is a hot commodity on the Coaching level.
Now I'm not saying that will happen , not at all BUT what I am saying there are some people here that are very misguided in the sense that they feel or have that conception Coach Self would never leave for the NBA. To that I'll say you need to remove your blinders. Loyality as being the reason from a lot of people , even that goes so far , even your most loyal of people can only take so much before they say enough is enough.
All I can say is Never say Never , you continue to look at it like that - - -one day you gonna wake up and say - -what the hell happened ? and I'm totally shocked I never saw that coming OR the typical I just don't understand it. - Like I said now do I WANT Coach Self to leave ummm NO BUT IF it does KU will be fine , we have never had any problem with the Coach's that have become our Coach or what they have become. Somebody needs to clear the deck that's for sure. - Again there are some of the things that have taken place that were proven incorrect , or more to the story. Then there are some that are 100 % true. This happens to be very , very , hard to believe that it wouldn't be true. Usually when you get charged with something of this sort then you are guilty and guilty as hell.

People see our name Kansas University's name being brought up in some shall we say in not such a good way - Circumstance after Circumstance , after Cirumstance and after so long - -after hearing , reading , seeing our name brought up in a bad situation sooner or later we are going to be a marked school, A School with a very bad reputation , we will be tagged as a " Black Sheep "
That in turn can and will effect your recruiting. Parents will tell their kids umm there is no way I want you to be attending a School like that - -the reputation they have. As the NCAA says lack of institutional control parents don't want their kids going to places like that. That will be us if we can't as you say get the Deck cleared , and cleared very soon.
I don't need to hear anything about , WELL to think we are the only School that this is going on at , OR were not the only School that this is going on at , My response to that statement would be I could give a crap less about the OTHER SCHOOLS, that's they're problem. - this arrest took place in Howard County Missouri. Has his 1st court appearance on Feb 10th in Howard County.
This is not the 1st time Harris has been arrested in Missouri , was arrested in Platte County back in October while driving with a revoked/suspended license , that charge stemmed from a speeding ticket received in March followed by a failure to appear for a Court date in July.
