In the past, I've truly cared about KU football. Now, every article I hear of/see about it just makes me go " meh ".

JJ was pretty close to being the perfect OAD. In my opinion, the actual perfect OAD was Carmelo Anthony. I didn't like him, don't like Syracuse, don't even really like the color orange - but - he came in, did was he was hyped up to do, won a National Championship for his team and then he was down the road.

Ya know - I too would like to have a couple of extra bodies on the bench. But, has anyone noticed that we're 12-3, ranked #12 in the country and are generally doing pretty well? How about we forget about people that we may never see in a KU uniform and just enjoy the team we have. They are plenty capable of beating the crap out of anyone on any given night.
So, what if we get BP and SD and we suuuuuck?

@Texas-Hawk-10 That's a really good point. Can you imagine what a Josh Jackson, Andrew Wiggins - even Selby would have done in a program like OU's ? Don't get me wrong, I hate Oklahoma in all sports, just using that as an example because of Young, Hield and many others they've had - even Bigger Mouthfield in football - they do a much better marketing job on the big names that they land in their respective sports.
@Texas-Hawk-10 He's spent a whole lot more time at KU than Trae Young has spent at OU, and he seems to have figured stuff out pretty quickly. Newman is not the b-ball player that he was hyped up to be.

Since Billy Boy is seemingly never going to play - him and his momma can both pack up and wait for the NBA draft for all I care. And if he DOES actually set foot on the hardwoods - since he ain't Jesus, maybe he can play Moses and lead us to the promised land. Or at least help us not lose in AFH.
