I thought before the game that one significant defensive stop or turnover or moment would likely be the difference today. We’ve already had like three in four minutes!!!

Kansas State hate • Oct 25, 2025 04:35 PM

@approxinfinity i think we’ve seen plenty of humor already in this game.

Kansas State hate • Oct 25, 2025 04:30 PM

For the uneducated like me … are we supposed to win this game?

Kansas State hate • Oct 25, 2025 04:29 PM

What a mess.

KU vs Louis exhibition game chat • Oct 25, 2025 04:35 AM

Hey, how exciting. We got to watch some Jayhawk hoops! Awesome.

Boy, DP sure set the bar high for the rest of the season.

I can admit that buy in for me is going to be challenging with all the new, possibly temporary faces we have. Gonna take some time to learn their skills and personalities. We’re all used to the old way of 3-4 year player development.

That’s what I’m thinking too. Foot speed doesn’t seem there for a small. We will see about the stretch part. Hope so

And how many coaches would be fired for slapping around players like the Louisville coach just did? Weird.

KU vs Louis exhibition game chat • Oct 24, 2025 11:45 PM

I thought Tre White would be bigger.

We like it when freshmen are better than expected. Go Kohl.

KU vs Louis exhibition game chat • Oct 24, 2025 11:15 PM

Is that the real tip off or when it’ll be televised ya think?

We're preseason Number ... 19 • Oct 24, 2025 11:04 PM

I'm guessing Kohl is a fill-in starter til Dawson returns.
Bill won't dare start two freshmen and a sophomore all year! ha.

Brett Yormack • Oct 19, 2025 03:38 AM

Ha. Who knows! The whole thing is crazy. That video doesn’t really show me anything. Maybe we’ll have to read Lance’s memoir someday when he retires for the true story. If there is a story.

Concise. Cold. Coach-speak.

Not seeing any evidence of a coach getting fired on any of the trustable, usual news outlets.

Late Night • Oct 18, 2025 03:29 AM

Saw a few pics and a silly dancing video. What’s with the dancing? Do the students like to see the players dance?

Haven’t found scrimmage video yet.

Late Night • Oct 18, 2025 02:43 AM

Was hoping to hear how DP looked tonight. Anybody got a video?

Too bad about the crowd. Is it usually full on Late Night?

Last time i went was Late Night with Larry Brown! Ha, i'm old. Had some great T-shirts from those days...

HA!!!!! ESPN had this to say about our transfers (they did a story about who gained/lost the most).

Getting rid of the two below was BY FAR an addition!!!

T-2. Kansas Jayhawks (-8)

2021-24 average net score: +6

2025 ranked players added: +1

No. 73 Tre White via Illinois (+1)

2025 ranked players lost: -3

No. 63 AJ Storr to Ole Miss (-2)

No. 91 Rylan Griffen to Texas A&M (-1)

2025 Chiefs • Oct 13, 2025 05:55 PM

Oddly i never had a bad feeling about last night's game, even after the Detroit opening drive. Thought it was a win from the start. Chiefs seemed pretty calm and collected. With Detroit's injury woes, i did think we'd take more deep shots, but we hit the magic 30 points scored number, so all good.

Hoping we don't hear devastating news about our left tackle...

I think we should just close our eyes and enjoy that we’re on national tv today. Then forget quickly.

TTech Game thread • Oct 11, 2025 11:37 PM

How is there not a single linebacker up the middle ?

TTech Game thread • Oct 11, 2025 11:36 PM

May have to switch over to the professional bowling channel.

TTech Game thread • Oct 11, 2025 11:35 PM

Lovely.

Generic soccer thread • Oct 11, 2025 10:32 PM

Finished watching. Yea, a mostly very weird game/formation/lineup. Like zero players started who could impact the game in any creative way. Poch to blame for that. I can’t figure out what he’s doing with these guys.

We were truly disorganized with players seemingly not having a clue how to play in those positions and space.

When will the experimentation end?

Look at Weah. A fast, skilled wide player who barely had any freedom. Just odd.

The defense was lost, left with lots of 1 on 1s. Two yellow cards because of it.

Oh well. The energy spiked a bit with the subs.

I truly liked Flo’s energy today.

Generic soccer thread • Oct 11, 2025 05:04 PM

Didn’t realize the men’s side played yesterday. Just started watching.

Immediately confused with wtf Poch is thinking seeing the lineup and formation. 5-4-1

With Westin McKennie seemingly playing close to the front line outside as a skilled playmaker. Wtf?

Will Poch ever take this team seriously???

Within the first 5 minutes all I’ve seen is Flo making 50 yard north / south runs with the ball to nowhere.

Oh, and we’re down 1-0 after disorganization in the back left literally a 1 on 1 for zero reason.

I sure hope this pays off at some point, Poch. I’m losing faith.

TV shows • Oct 10, 2025 11:43 PM

I started watching "The Lowdown", starring Ethan Hawke.

I admit i wasn't in the mood to watch it, but so far it seems pretty awful. He doesn't seem like a good fit at all.

It is getting decent reviews, so maybe i need to pick it up when i have the attention span available.

2025 Chiefs • Oct 10, 2025 03:41 AM

Not sure how good or bad to feel about the Chiefs’ season so far. It’s never good to be sub-500, although we’ve played some good teams. Lost a few we shouldn’t have lost probably, too.

The easy thing to do is blame the lack of starting WRs, which is reasonable of course.

We beat the Giants, who beat the Eagles, who we lost to. Same kinda deal with the Chargers, beating KC but losing to the Giants. Weird.

I think they have to cut down on some mistakes. And the sked looks tough the next few months!

2025 Chiefs • Oct 07, 2025 05:22 AM

Grr. Stupid Chiefs.

Hardy anything worse than losing to the Jaguars.

A massive self implosion tonight.

I was all good with Butker before the game, but that kick off out of bounds was a just a killer. I can't even fathom how he'd be even close to the sideline in that game situation. maddening.

Mahomes got away with more than a few risky passes tonight. That pick was amateur hour though.

Hats off to Trevor Lawrence. If the Chiefs refused to attempt to contain him, why not take advantage? And he did. Boo defense!

I thought Pacheco had some good, violent running tonight. That's a good sign.

And a tiny bit of life from Kelce! Maybe Taylor was out of town this week ...

Finally, for those of you insistent that the NFL refs are rigging games ... c'mon, man.

LANCE THE KNIGHTS • Oct 05, 2025 03:33 AM

I’d like to take credit for this win. I left the chat to get dinner ready when things were sketchy, and we won! The defense woke up?

@patoh3 said in LANCE THE KNIGHTS:

UCF RB has 99 yds rushing already.

On what, two runs? Jeez. The D needs to wake up. Or we gotta score every possession.

Honestly, each week I set the minimum winning score for KU at 30 points.

LANCE THE KNIGHTS • Oct 05, 2025 12:08 AM

Touchdown! Finally.

Can any football experts tell me why on 3rd and short we try a wide pass behind the line of scrimmage like that?

WR has no momentum. Why not a short, quick slant??? I recall running those simple quick pass routes in Pop Warner!

LANCE THE KNIGHTS • Oct 04, 2025 11:56 PM

The DL is certainly not eating so far. Maybe they hit the buffet too heavy before the game? Zzz

On the bright side, only gave up one TD so far.

LANCE THE KNIGHTS • Oct 04, 2025 11:30 PM

And the sea parts in Florida. Mack truck coulda labored thru that massive hole.

LANCE THE KNIGHTS • Oct 04, 2025 09:41 PM

The Jayhawks are favored on the road by 4.5 points.

So, certainly rooting for a win, but who the heck knows.

I just want a bowl game, i just want a bowl game, i just want a bowl game.

Go Hawks!

2025 Chiefs • Oct 03, 2025 10:04 PM

I'm really not sweating Butker too much. He does miss a bunny or two each year, and an extra point.
otherwise all but one of his misses have been from 50+. The other 40+.

2025 Chiefs • Oct 01, 2025 12:30 AM

Oh crap. I thought that was a fresh story! Whew.

Sounds like i chose the right game to skip.

yea, we lost momentum at the start, and never got it back really.

A stupid turnover on the goal line when about to score cost us the game probably. sooo annoying.

Lance Leipold • Sep 27, 2025 09:15 PM

I’m not ready to fire Lance, but that’s not a good loss. He needs to get players motivated to make a stop or play or two.

Speaking of the crowd…every time the cameras panned to the new stadium seats, they were half empty! What gives?
