@BeddieKU23 what did I miss?

@BShark Good for them I guess?
I hope our two top rated recruits from last season pan out. Enaruna and Wilson are both pretty rough for top 100 talent.
Just, um, surprising. Recent players from Roselle Catholic ended up at Oregon, LSU and UK iirc.
Looks like Rutgers is dropping the bag for a top 50 player from Roselle Catholic. Just when you think 2020 can't get any more insane.

Good info about the statewide order that Gov. Kelly issued today. https://www.kansastogether.com/counties ↗
Thanks. Probably should read this since I live here.
To go on some more after taking a breather..
Look at how long Cosby was able to molest and rape women unchecked. Now do we need to actually default to automatically throwing accused men in prison? No. That also isn't happening. What we do need to do is better foster a society where women aren't afraid to report sexual crimes. Unless you know and have talked to women that have been raped and/or domestically abused you don't know how it is. Some men get a woman living in fear, thinking they can never break away. Men are not immune to this either. I've seen time and time again men falling into the same type of destructive/toxic relationship (usually emotional or financial abuse) so it can go both ways.

@DoubleDD A. No they don’t. B. You ever tried to file for government assistance? C. She had to deal with a lot more than him for even coming forward. Three out of every four sexual assaults go u reported. Wonder why that is if as you say the guy is guilty till proven innocent? Bret wasn’t proven innocent nor was the president, yet they hold two of the highest offices in the country
We are kind of off the rails here, maybe @approxinfinity wants to split this line of discussion but man, what a horrible view of sexual assault from DD. So many girls and women commit suicide after being raped BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY WON'T BE BELIEVED AND CAN'T LIVE WITH THE INTERNAL SHAME.
@approxinfinity he is so good, we are fortunate.

Don't expect this to really go anywhere. KU and PSA Cardinals aren't exactly tight.
Can't imagine getting a kid from psa as long as Bill is the coach.
@FarmerJayhawk oof, link?

I like it.
Not surprised with Juzang. Trouble in paradise this year finally. Money is nice but kids wanna play especially 5*.

Justin Turner released a Top 6, KU wasn't on it.
Yeah seems like we aren't really pursuing anyone. He's a baller tho.
@benshawks08 I'm honestly not sure how China works financially with things like that.
@Crimsonorblue22 said in 2020 Transfer List:
@BeddieKU23 who?
Yeah I disagree, I don't think anyone is leaving KU after this season.

Hmm. 20 ppg on 45% trey ball in Chicago not too shabby tabby.
We aren't free. We are just house slaves (third world is field slaves).

Myron Metcalf has endorsed KU as national champion. Will Cain is not impressed. So he’s taking calls to support his argument. Guess who the first caller was? A guy from Columbia Missouri, guess what he didn’t like the idea.
Another funny thing is no one remembers the Helms championships. They act like it’s never been done before.
My twitter name has been 2020 Helms Champion Kansas Jayhawks for awhile now. :D

Gotta think this one happens the day after their season ends if not for the Rona.

Doesn't sound like KU is really going after any transfers as of today. Doing some reaching out, but nobody has been offered or anything like that.

Yes PLEASE. Either Jones or Turner would be a huge upgrade over Jossell.
I think either would be a candidate to start. Haven't seen that KU has contacted Jones but I've not been on Twitter much today.
@mayjay The economy can recover, a bit harder to bring dead people back to life.

Guessing this will be a highly contested one for his services.
He can probably transcend playing for Shaka a bit. He'd have such high usage playing for Bill.
Does Shaka know how to feed the post?
Greg Brown is very very good. I was hoping Adidas would pony up but the whole landscape sucks right now post trial. Not sure when KU recruiting in particular will get back to normal. We've been fortunate to find some local under the radar gems.

Self just said he plans to play small majority of the time to take advantage of the roster full of perimeter players. Did mention that Mitch would give them the ability to play traditional if needed since he is more mobile then Dave/Silvio.
To get the best 5 of the floor its 4 guards and a big. I do think another impact guard or big would give this team a little something extra. Moss did that for this past years squad. The right fit absolutely adds value
We got a lot of guys but we might not have a dude. Turner looks like a dude to me.
I was talking about the first one. The NYTimes I couldn't read as stated. Some kind of splash page and I'm not going to give them info to read.
Nah, that didn't pass the sniff test. From a Republican shill site. If it was in the second link I couldn't read that one.
Post the proof then.

@FarmerJayhawk Even corky is going there lol.
@Texas-Hawk-10 10th or 11th usually leads to dnps for sure. I think it hurts his chances that he is basically exclusively a 4 due to his lack of athleticism.
@FarmerJayhawk said in Self On Next Season:
Odd there was no mention of Wilson. I don’t think he’s leaving and he said he was back, just what are we going to get from him?
Near the bottom of the rotation is my guess.
Harris, who redshirted this year, could be considered part of this incoming class and a major addition. He has drawn rave reviews from the staff. That should come with the caveat that it’s not unusual for a coach to fall in love with a guy when he’s redshirting because there’s no pressure and you can play freely on the scout team, but nonetheless, Harris is the type of player Self loves. He is a true point guard and the consensus was he was the best passer on the roster this year. “He’s going to score me a lot of points,” Lightfoot says. “He’s one of the best facilitators I’ve played with, and I’ve played with some pretty damn good players. He’s gonna be a force to be reckoned with.”
@BeddieKU23 I'll just c/p it
“He’s had a great year. Great year,” Self says. “I think he’s learning how to score. I really do. That’s the thing I would say that he’s probably done the best so far is he’s just kind of figured out how to score — inside and outside.”
Lightfoot has always had the ability to shoot 3s; he just hasn’t shown it off much in games. (He’s 10-of-30 for his career.) It was a priority to work on Lightfoot’s confidence, and playing on the scout team as the man could change his approach. Lightfoot has simply been a dirty work guy, hardly ever looking to score. He told The Athletic he believes he’ll be better at stretching the floor next season. “I’ve got something planned for y’all,” he says.
Lightfoot’s presence also allows Self to play bigger lineups and not have it feel forced. The combination of McCormack and Azubuike never really worked because it’s hard to play two centers together, but Lightfoot is more a traditional power forward who has the foot speed and comfort level to defend on the perimeter.
That said, Self still anticipates playing small a majority of the time, because the Jayhawks are extremely deep on the perimeter and at the wing spots. In addition to Garrett, who has filled that small-ball 4 spot the last two years, the Jayhawks have six wings who are 6-5 or taller.
“If the roster returns as expected, I think we’ll have more depth on the perimeter than we’ve had in a long time,” Self says. “We’ll definitely be playing more people than this year.”
