Well I hope more local tv deals get worked out for you. People in Kansas shouldn't have to jump through hoops to watch a KU game.

@HighEliteMajor Yeah I'd have a minimum 30 minute travel time to get to a bar with the game on. Thankfully I do generally get 38 in over the air. Last game it wasn't coming in so I had to fire up PSVUE and a vpn.
Hope this ability to deal locally spreads over local Kansas stations again like it USED TO BE.

Heh, we can hope. I do think that they simply weren't getting the sub numbers they were hoping to get for the lowest tier KU hoops games.
@jayballer54 Vick has been otherworldly through 4 games. I don't think he can keep up these numbers when the schedule gets tougher but damn.

With the 38 deal in place now I would THINK this won't be an issue going forward. Just let local channels pick up the JTV games if they want them.

Yep. College Park is currently 2-1 (I think) at the Washington TOC. The only other college level player they have is Shannon Scott who is a JUCO level guy.
I know they lost to EJ Liddell's team (Grimes had 23 in this one, didn't get much help), and have two wins. I believe these are all the games they have played so far but it can be difficult to find the info. Usually the box scores are incomplete too...they only bother posting up the stats for legit recruits.
Grimes went for 50 AGAIN. 18 rebounds and 12 assists in that game too...
Followed it up with 27/10/6.
Probably tired in game 2, as they were on the same day, so I'll excuse not breaking 50 again. :joy:

Yeah he has been balling out. KU backed off on this one. I think this is a situation that worked out best for both parties. He wouldn't have got the shots and minutes ~~his dad~~ he wanted at KU this season.

To be fair, SDSU played a horrific first half, nowhere near their normal numbers. Part of that was us I'm sure but still something to keep in mind as they did miss some good looks.

One of my cousins is an Oakland grad. Actually just called to wish her family a happy turkey day.
I think this is a game KU should win by about 20 but you never know when the bench is so thin. A quick whistle on Doke can make ANY game harder.

Dotson is a pure point. He was offered the keys. It's a bad look if he doesn't start at PG so unless it's a really inferior option (which I doubt) I'd say he officially starts at PG. Also he isn't as rough of a shot as Garrett, but he does need some work there.
Grimes is a lot different than Young imo. Young has in the gym shooting range. Grimes doesn't but he has more explosive athleticism to his game.

Billy's mom was pretty annoyed on twitter. She seems sure that the car is used and completely legal. Also that Billy has a proper license. Mentioned that she didn't realize she had to register the car with the school.
If all this is the case I'm not sure how this has not been cleared up.
His profile on some sites lists SDSU as his only offer but he probably had other offers. None would have been power programs of course.

@RockkChalkk Sounds like he wants to add a shooter, which makes sense. So if guys leave early and they don't land Romeo I'm sure they'd look around late. Just too early to know who they'd be going after whether it's a HS recruit or grad transfer.

Good grief. The kid had a custom KU jersey ready to go. This can't be super hard to figure out. Completely agree he wanted to enjoy the process and make sure. Turns out according to him he didn't verbal to the staff as early as I heard, but I did hear that from multiple people, on the same day. Maybe it was just, super close to and basically a verbal. Then he told the staff :100: last Sunday when he said.
Q made it clear in articles that it was his decision and his mom didn't push him.
