Goodness DP
Goodness Paul is a large human
Yeah he thinks he’s a 3/4 when he’s really a stretch 5
we’ve got something in this Peterson kid #analysis
Also probably not a coincidence we went to hell when Flory came out. Tiller has a ways to go
Quality of play is very not good. Which is to be expected in October
The athleticism jumps out immediately
There are no complete rebuilds anymore. We graduated like 35 players last year and got better. With the portal you just reload. Two good examples are the WR corps and DE. We lost almost every single reception from last year and landed guys like Pickett and Henderson who are fantastic. We lost Jereme Robinson and DeShawn Warner at DE, replaced them with Finkley and Leroy Harris, and got better. It’s a different world.

Some of it is perfectly defensible like the institutional neutrality provision. But the immigration, gender/sex, and financial things are just straight up extortion.
My guess is it’s KU’s call at the end of the day unless KBOR steps in. I can’t see that happening because I believe most members were appointed by Gov. Kelly.
Late Night hasn’t been full in years. Having it on a football bye week also hurt attendance.
All I know about this story is it’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen in sports for a while and I’m clueless as to why it’s getting all the attention it is.
@dylans it’s just an analogy, of course how you spend the money matters. It’s the reason Tech has a top 10 roster in the game. They spent more on their lines than anyone. They have the best DL probably in the sport. Turns out when you have an alum who’s willing to spend all the money it certainly helps. They have a chance to really make some noise in the CFP.
The Big 12 is nowhere close to D2, I was at a MIAA game Saturday and it’s really nowhere close to Big 12 (or really even any G5 league) ball.
Last night was predictable. How competitive do fans think the Chiefs would be if they spent $50m when the salary cap is $200m?
This cycle is going to be nuts. Do I think Lance goes anywhere? No, but with Wiscy almost certainly open and Nubs may be open, the chances aren’t zero.
We have more times than not.
@kjayhawks yeah Cincy really showed out today. It’s going to be a grind the rest of the way, with the exception of Okie Lite. They’re atrocious.
Huge. We’re going to get absolutely drilled next week so it’s good to have this one in the bank. I thought we’d be 5-1 at this point, 4-2 isn’t bad. 8 wins is still doable, though difficult.
Never in doubt amirite
LFG
Hell yeah
Yeah I don’t love putting this all on the defense
Getting Kamara back was massive.
Yikes
Andy has not had a good game for Penn State. His 4th and game call was horrific.
Arch has thrown two bad picks this half. My boy Billy might save his job after all
I think we’ll be ok in this one. Our DL should eat.
That one particular ref crew in the KSU Baylor game has a terrible and well deserved reputation among coaches
Bardwell is a great play. If we get Stokes he can stay in 27, if we don’t come on down this summer kid.
The offense has been very good. Is the defense where we want it? Of course not. Let’s beat a bad UCF team and see where we are going into Lubbock. Most Big 12 teams are pretty mediocre so let’s see what happens.

@approxinfinity I want them to win too, my expectations however are different.
A good football program raises the tide for the entire university. It would be nice…
It has given even average football and record enrollment in a demographically stagnant state.
lol
The buyout is over $20m. He’s not getting fired.

That’s honestly one of the most insane things I’ve ever read.
Did you stop reading the news for the past 10 years? Firing Lance is a horrible idea but I can easily find dozens that are exponentially more insane!
Heh, it’s been tempting. But just a little beer influenced hyperbole on my part
Give me moments like OU 2 years ago vs nobody in the stands past half.
That’s honestly one of the most insane things I’ve ever read
To use for revenue sharing for players and most of it is restricted.
With what money? I’d much rather be in every game than getting drilled 63-10 every week but to each their own.

It’ll be interesting to see if Sinclair and Nexstar affiliates run the show.

Bruce Pearl out to run for Senate. His kid gets a shot. It won’t happen for a couple reasons but it would be fun to make a run at Hall again.
Back up to 6.5 now. It’s going to be fun

Gundy is so getting fired
Gundy, Napier and Dabo. Dead men walking.
I don’t think Dabo gets canned this year. That buyout is absurd
I’m a big fan of a lot of underdogs. One of those is Sean Lewis at San Diego State. They’re straight up whooping Cal right now. He’s a younger coach who has a really bright future. He was on KU’s radar at the time Lance was hired, though never a serious candidate.
Lance is just such a weird cultural fit down there I can’t see bout sides seeing it as a good match. Kansas is the furthest south he’s coached by a good bit.
At this point Lance is a KU lifer. Can’t see anyone going after a 62 year old with his record in P4 football. I know Mrs. Leipold is very happy in LFK.
Great dub. On to Cincy. 11 AM on TNT which is wild.
OL played much better in the second half. Still not exactly a strength but something to build on.
Belt. To. Ass.
Sugar huddle yikes
Keep grinding. The shot play will be there
