Hampton's 4 schools are Kansas, Memphis, Tech, and Kentucky, right? So why is he getting predictions to go to Duke?
@FarmerJayhawk Very nice.
@FarmerJayhawk What major?
@BShark That would be a nice piece to get the recruiting rolling.
A 5-star, POWER forward whose name is Thor? Nah man, doesn't sound like a stud to me at all.
@Woodrow How recent were the CB picks?
I've heard RJ announcement won't happen until late July? That makes me worry a little bit about Duke. A lot can happen in 3 month$...
I think it's good news for Kansas (and Tech). RJ cut Duke when Tre Jones said he was coming back for another season. RJ is a lot better than Ellis and would easily start over him or Stanley if he chose Duke. So I doubt RJ cares at all about Ellis leaving Duke. Memphis going after Ellis could mean that they don't think they have a good shot of landing RJ anymore, though. Losing RJ to Tech would really suck.
I actually think he has a higher ceiling than Robinson. I doubt he'll ever make it in the NBA, though.
@Kcmatt7 And contains Charlie Moore.
@BigBad Textbooks.
Hence, Book Richardson.
@BeddieKU23 I am SHOCKED. /s
RJ, Dotson, Walker backcourt with Garrett, Ochai, and small flurries of McBride off the bench. Also Braun looking handsome and knocking down 3's in blowouts. Yes, please.
If by some miracle Silvio is allowed to play next season not only would that even further enhance our squadron, it would also provide some Doke insurance.
In order that I want the guards: Tucker, RJ, Walker. Any one of them would be a great get, and just adding one would make KU's backcourt pretty legit (assuming Dotson returns). Landing a guard and a power forward and I think KU competes with anyone next season.
Clairvoyance and scrying.

IT'S GETTING JUICY!!!
Matt Norlander has tweeted about Steve Smith assistant coach at Clemson discussing potential payments to Zion Williamson.
Also USC's Tony Bland on tape discussing payments to lure Marvin Bagley Jr.
Hilarious how both ended up at Duke for FREE RIGHT??? RIGHT???
I think Nike paid Bagley's dad to coach an AAU team or something. Which is fine for some reason.
Pat Forde never misses the opportunity to be a turd.
Hagans, Quickley, Maxey, Whitney, probably Juzang... does Kentucky have room for Hampton?
@kjayhawks Maybe. I think it's still likely that KU will hit on a few more transfers or recruits, and there's an outside shot that Silvio is cleared. To me, Tucker is by far the most important player that KU can add because of his ability to shoot the 3-ball. If we get him I think KU goes from a good team to a team capable of winning a national championship. We'll see what happens. Get to work, Bill.
"The people were so welcoming."

Thank you, Doke.
I'd bet we'll add a few more pieces before the season starts, but even if we don't our team should be decent. Tucker and Blackshear or maybe Holyfield probably would make us preseason #1.
@FarmerJayhawk Preferably ones that can shoot 3-pointers.
It was self reported too. So let's never report anything to the NCAA ever again. Agreed?
Matthew Hurt to Duke.
@BShark He heard Doke might be coming back.
Then we'll have one of the best big men in the country on our team next season.
If Devon comes back we'll have one of the best point guards in the country next season.
That's a good start.
Cam Reddish declares for the draft.
@BShark My fancy math isn't enough to prevent my research professor from yelling at me weekly.
@BShark Averaged 2.4 pts in 11.7 minutes in the Big 12. Exrapolating to 30 minutes it's about 7 points. Adjusting for an easier SOS in the Southland probably around 10ish pts.
He'd probably average 4 blocks per game in the Southland conference.
I wouldn't say no but I'd kind of rather just play Dave and Mitch.

All time leading shot blocker at SFA
I mean Dedric averaged more blocks per game at Memphis than Holyfield did at SFA. In 3 seasons, Dedric has 161 blocks. In 3 seasons, TJ has 133 blocks. So ya, Dedric lite.
Looks like Dedric Lawson lite.
The team banquet is next Tuesday. I'm guessing a decision from Doke might happen by then.
Our guard situation still seems okay regardless of what happens with Stanley or Hampton. Doke staying would be huge because it doesn't look like we're getting Hurt or Achiuwa. I'd much rather have senior Doke anyway.
Stanley's father said he hasn't heard from UCLA or Cronin yet, and that he has never talked with Cronin prior to UCLA. He also said he will have a meeting with UCLA "out of respect for the program." It makes it seem like it's going to be Kansas or Oregon for Stanley.
Francis keeping Tech in the game.
I hope everyone took the under...
Is he going to reclassify?
@bcjayhawk Seems about right. I've got Tech 61-Virginia 56 and the under.
So Duke out for Hampton then?
Old man Kirk is still in his 20's.
Tortillas won? No, that can't be right. The team that beat Duke can't lose. They beat DUKE.
I generally don't get a lot of personal satisfaction from other teams losing, but Duke and UK failing to make the final four on the same day is amazing. And I'm excited to hear commentary that isn't exclusively about the Duke BlueZions in the Final 4 and Championship games.
@joeloveshawks I think he was last season when KU played Duke in the E8 too. And then you have Bilas and Williams on ESPN. And Greenberg is an ACC guy too. It's pretty bad.
Big 12, Big 10, SEC, and ACC all with 1 team in the Final 4. I'm actually looking forward to watching it.
@kjayhawks That was the funniest thing, the commentators trying to explain that Duke still had 4 fouls to give before MSU was even in the 1-and-1 bonus. Good job, MSU.
Bye Duke. Officials tried.
Great end to the half by Michigan St.
Williamson has 3 tackles on the game but only 2 fouls somehow.
