@mayjay Swampwater? Do you mean Buttock?
@jaybate-1.0 I think that would accounts for some of the accounts by military people in the show I posted, but it doesn't explain the Phoenix UFO mass sighting. The aircraft was thousands of feet long, and triangular according to the accounts I think. Faking the physical had greater limitations back then. (that drone swarm at these last Olympics was really something wasn't it?)
@HighEliteMajor good read. I'm a fan of explanation 8/9/10 of group 2. I think there are probably aliens and we are unknowingly in their petri dish.
The alien assault on weapon systems even from the lens of this being NWO propaganda is still interesting, as if there is no real alien threat, as well as no real imminent international nuclear threat, then there is no reason why the alien threat couldn't also display characteristics that make us less afraid of the nuclear threat, while we still perceive it as real.
@jaybate-1.0 great perspective. Many of the accounts in the program were seemingly credible former military people, and hard to imagine that they would all be colluding, but certainly their interviews could be doctored, and the video evidence that they showed corresponding to their accounts could not be the original video because that classified video was destroyed, so were actually artists renditions of their testimonial.
Still an interesting watch for those with Prime.
Thanks for confining my assumptions to earth, literally.
@jaybate-1-0 Watched this on Amazon Prime today. Fascinating, thorough, and seemingly irrefutable.
Found the accounts of UFOs destroying a warhead of a test missile in flight and a different UFO disarming 40 missiles particular interesting.
Maybe UFOs will save us from nuclear destruction. :fingers_crossed:
I wonder if any North Korean test missiles have been interfered with.
Also of interest, Reagan's 5 references to aliens in speeches, Carter discussing that he had seen a UFO... How much of Trump's confidence in US ability to handle a nuclear threat, and flippant "fire and fury" comments toward Korea might be based upon knowledge of American mastery of alien anti-ballistic technology? And in that vein, how much of Obama's modernization effort of our nuclear arsenal revolved around replacing patriot missiles with alien anti-ballistic tech?
@BShark I haven't watched a single Wichita State game this year. I probably should.
Peace out Grayson. Looking forward to an epic choke job in the tournament.
No doubt, ESPN will find a new annointed Blue Devil after you, but I have high hopes that he won't be such an ugly person.
This "White" guy seems appropriate.

@drgnslayr what about skill? I think that Scheyer, Nolan, Singler team was the last moderately skilled team Duke has fielded (the year they won over Wisconsin was an assault on the eyes), and really it was just that trio. And the last exceptionally skilled player Duke has had was Redick. Surely, we've fielded a higher skill level year in year out than Duke and Kentucky.
I listened to Charlie Moore in his postgame after dropping 38 his second game at Cal. He said all the right things for being relatively un-coached. I was impressed. You guys have got me intrigued. If you guys want more fodder, look at the list of past Mr Basketball's in Illinois. Almost all were great college players.
@Statmachine I thought Frank had the best point guard handles i had seen on a freshman in the Self era.
@Kcmatt7 I haven't considered the depth of the draft this year. Seems the rate of improvement Doke gas exhibited should project into the NBA. Maybe you're right and we get to keep and develop him another year. Hope so.
@BShark I think in Charlie's case, if he wants a euro career it probably matters less how much pt you get and more who you learn from. I think playing ball at KU is more like a diploma in basketball from KU in this case. So PT is nice but doesn't matter as much? Maybe not... :shrug:
Business (77) and related majors: 240

Communication (84) and journalism: 99
Kinesiology and exercise sciences: 63
Sociology: 55
According to this article from 2015 of football players from the ACC, the majority have business related majors. I wonder what the breakdown for basketball actually is.
I'm not expecting Doke back. Didn't he say he was staying 1 maybe 2? He's shown enough to get drafted. Does he need the money?
@Texas-Hawk-10 it seems they have the capacity to, since they shoot 38.7% from 3.
They hang their hat on D. They're 37th in county in 3 pt%, and 271st in 3 pt attempts. Last night they twice went for 2 when down by 3 with less that 60 seconds to play.
DeAndre Ayton, $100k man, first option.
The Art of the Public Lie, starring Sean Miller?
@approxinfinity just looked at roster... you're right, they really didn't have anything in the post. 12-6 in the B12 seems pretty good for that roster.
@BShark ah, gotcha!
@BShark JAG =Jiant Ass Guard?
Bennett will win it. I don't think this is Self's weakest team. I'm not yet convinced that next year we will be better. You've got two senior starters (one is our PG) on this team and a footer with the get better gene. We are lacking 1 big. Otherwise, this team is loaded.
@dylans wow. Whole bunch of saying nothing and posing with an iPhone.
Why are they widening the free throw lane? Isn't this going to make the game even more dominated by the 3 ball?
Man. Couldn't be prouder supporting this team. DTae will be mayor of Lawrence after the NBA just wait!
@bskeet wow :100: right you are.

What @dylans said. Posting to YouTube is the only way to embed it. Otherwise you could post it somewhere else and share the link but it wouldn't be embedded.
@Statmachine for those saying we will have the most dominant team under Self... How much will we miss Devonte? Hard to believe in a team, however talented, until the freshman PG has proven himself at Kansas.
They decided to keep Vince Carter to mentor the young guys and he got 32 minutes last night or something like that. So they dumped Hill and amped up Carter... Also Z-Bo got 40 minutes. Garrett Temple for 32. I hope they know the difference between mentoring and "playing insteead of". Skal is out, and they traded the 10th pick (which was Zach Collins, but could have been John Collins, Bam Adebayo or Donovan Mitchell at that point) to Portland for Justin Jackson and Harry Giles, who isn't on the current roster. Shortage in the post but didnt draft a big man.
@REHawk it takes a big man to admit his mistakes and change his mind. You're a PHOF poster at work!
@JayHawkFanToo would it be fair to have taken away the chance of teams lower than an 8 seed a chance to dance? How many of them have had upsets? I have no idea but would be curious.
The March Carney is the greatest spectacle in American sports. The first weekend is magical and I love hearing about the smaller teams that made it. I think we would lose a lot of the magic if we restricted to 32 (or 36) teams.
Here's an article about Drug Free Sport, the company that drug tests for NCAA, for anyone interested. Based out of Kansas City, founder formally worked for NCAA. Their clientele is MLB, NBA, NCAA, NFL, PGA, etc etc.

It would seem that Trier was randomly selected if this was conducted by the NCAA, at least it sounds like that is the policy (?). Usually students are notified the day before that they are going to be tested.
My second horse in this race will be Virginia. If you guys haven't watched them, their team d this year has been superb.
@jaybate-1.0 Annyong!

From my view, I personally don't care at all because I don't care about the NBA. I just want our guys to make a living. And have long, productive careers.
not surprise!
this ties in very very well with "i personally don't care about national championships. I just want our guys to win the big 12 and break personal records"
I can't accuse @HighEliteMajor of ever saying that.
I do think, however, that from a recruiting perspective and from a media perspective having All Stars helps. But, our incoming talent for next year is top notch, so maybe that effect is not as necessary right now.
People need to dial it down a notch. The name calling and personal attacks are over the top. I'm shutting this thread down.
No chemistry problems last night. How about we follow suit?
@kjayhawks good looking out!
Should I be worried that people aren't getting along? Or are we getting along? Or are we not getting along but I shouldn't worry? Or should I worry but am I living in age where anything resembling authoritarianism is now rejected and moderators sensibilities no longer matter?
Weird times man.
Somebody tell me everything is going to be ok.
@Fightsongwriter maybe markelle fultz should get with whomever fixed dokes form
@BeddieKU23 there's a quote about Sasha Kaun by Self when he missed the front end of a couple 1 and 1s against A&M when they elected to hack him and AC Law sunk us. This is in Beyond the Streak. The quote is near identical to what Self said about not undermining confidence re: Udoka. That worked out pretty well for us then... We tied A&M for conference that year.
Trae Young isnt Steph Curry. Carmelo isnt Steph Curry. Curry is a generational talent. Yes it took him two years to get healthy. Yes Klay Thompson and Draymond Green came along. And Durant wanted to play with him. But these guys fit together well because Curry is easy to play with and fun to play with. I would never accuse Carmelo of being a team player. Can Trae Young pass well? Absolutely. But to assume that what we see today tracks to becoming Steph Curry is a big leap forward.
@Texas-Hawk-10 agreed. they were talking about TT being a 3 seed prior to their loss to Baylor, which makes no sense unless they fall off.
I thought OU had a very high ceiling watching them last year, and that was without Young. I think James, McNease, Doolittle and McGusty have all fallen short of my expected progression. And Lattin hit his ceiling, then reverted because this season is lost.
I think Trae Young has been a bad fit for Oklahoma. I think his brand of hero ball has resulted in a lack of teamwork and has not allowed others to play through their mistakes. I think Lon's giving in to letting Trae shoot half their shots has been a grievous error in judgement, even if Lon is capable of being a good coach and usually is one.
I also don't like Trae Young's thought process, saying things like "I'm getting guarded like no man in this country". To me, this freshman needed a dose of humility he didn't get, and Lon has failed him.
I agree wholeheartedly with you @jaybate-1-0 that a year under Self would have been much better for him. I'm not convinced that a year of Trae Young would have been much better for us.
@HighEliteMajor I think you could find a compable handful of calls that weren't called on WV.
Having a team that shoots lots of 3s and mauls people against a team that doesn't guard 3 shooters and drives a lot seems like the right formula for this foul total doesn't it? Throw in AFH and their coach getting double T'd.
I do think that calls went against them but as @JayHawkFanToo said, it's not nearly as egregious as the 35-2 number indicates.
@JayHawkFanToo excellent post. :100: with you on this one.
More often than not, when a team is in brawl mode the game normalizes around the standard they set and the more physical team gets to continue to beat on the other team as the refs swallow their whistles. In this case, the refs normalized the other way by not calling fouls against us, maybe because we appeared to be under control by comparison. I don't think more than one or two calls against WV were wrong. And several fouls went uncalled against them. The advantage we got was on calls that didn't get called on us. I still think this is a calculated risk that WV takes by brawling, and it didn't work in their favor.
THANK YOU BAYLOR!
timeout TT.
whooosh! made first
