@Crimsonorblue22 Yes, but they acted like he may play anyway.
@truehawk93 In all fairness he’s been consistent - started this thread Nov. 16. Not that I agree, just sayin’ it’s not a knee jerk reaction.
Did Berry play the full game?
Fuller had no stats, did he play at all?
@Crimsonorblue22 I can’t watch, which bodes well for the Chiefs - I’ve only watched 3 games this year. Yes, those three. Do the Chiefs look bad or does Seattle’s D look good?
@Kcmatt7 What’s Graham up to?
@Big-Clyde52 It’s cool. I’m just saying I don’t want Duke to be numero uno. 🤮
@Crimsonorblue22 🤷♂️
@Crimsonorblue22 I think so. All I see is Duke, Nova and Stanford on the 19-20 non-con so far.
@Crimsonorblue22 I’m pretty sure that was the return game.
@BShark Eh. The refs sucked, but so did KU in the second half.
@Big-Clyde52 I think you missed the point of my post.

Oh well. I just wish it wasn't Bobby Hurley. Cuz F Duke.
Worst thing about this loss is now Duke will likely be #1 for the rest of the season and the Zion coverage will be even more intense. Oh boy
Nice guys rarely are good football coaches. There are some - Reid, Vermeil etc. but my best coaches over the years were hard arses.
@JayHawkFanToo capacity is going to be limited to 10,000 for basketball (even when KU comes to Austin). It won’t sell out every night, but it shouldn’t have 6,000+ empty seats nearly every night like their current 16k home does.
Dang @wissox The OU Northwestern game went into overtime. Could’ve been a fun time. I’d join you, but I’m not driving 13 hours to watch OU play!
It’s cool that Texas found some other sucker to build the $300 million arena for them with no out of pocket expense. Too bad that offer isn’t on the table for KU football
@JayHawkFanToo After UNCs last job search, they can go screw themselves.

Penny thinks Barnes is an a-hole? Sensitive much???
I think the only real restriction to grad transfers is they must go into a degree that isn’t offered by their current university. Conference transfer rules??? Good question @Crimsonorblue22 might still add a year.
It would seem there is a slight pattern here. Villanova seemingly looked ahead to the KU game and got handled by Penn. ASU just got whooped by Vanderbilt, guess who’s next on the slate? Yup, Vanderbilt caught ASU looking ahead too.
I know it doesn’t usually work this way, but I hope our guys can learn from these other teams mistakes.
Medical red shirt candidate? Dean’s not NBA material, so why not try for one?

Fun program I’ve been playing with for the last few weeks. It’s surprising how guessing wrong on one game shifts the entire playoff scenario.
I don’t think it gets all the tie breakers right either, but it gets you in the neighborhood.
@approxinfinity The two active coaches with the longest conference win streaks too.

Bill’s birthday is in less than two weeks. Hope he gets a couple of bigs for presents.
TexasTech, KU, and ...
While conference opponents knock each other out. KU just wins, night in and night out. Every round of games 1/2 the conference picks up an L, but only rarely is it KU. By the end of the conference season we know how it’ll shake out.
Steaming the game- Commercials come in perfectly. The game buffers every trip down the court.
@DCHawker More productive than Quinerly
@Crimsonorblue22 Drive like Hell!!!
Is it April 1?

Every place y’all mentioned is full to over-flowing. Ended up at the Sandbar.with a bunch of Villanova jerks.... uh, folks
The Sandbar is usually a ton of fun. Love that place. I took a couple of friends there a couple years ago at around noon for their first trip. There where people dancing on the tables already. Good times had by all!
Anyone know how long Fuller is out?
@nuleafjhawk Me too. It’s no mans land. Just go for it. But then Colquit pinned them on the 5, so Rivers could have more stats. Luckily he threw that pick to Fuller or it would’ve been 14-14. Should’ve been 21-7 Chiefs at half time.
Oh well, hope they learned something and this wasn’t just playoff Chiefs making an early appearance.

The game was lost when we didn't go for the 4th and 3 at the 42. My opinion.
That’s when I decided Colquit must be cut. Lol
The GM needs to cut Colquit so Reid can’t punt. There is no point is taking a play away from the offense to help that D with field position. The only way to help the Chiefs defense is to score on every possession.

Joe Buck: worst excuse for a beard I've seen.
Distractingly bad. Someone should tell Joe he’s on tv.
Ah what might have been with Thomas.
@DanR That reminds me, LaFamilia was pretty good until one of the kids quit in the late nineties. Then it was hit or miss up until it closed. The Mexican food is better here (SW KS), but it better be with 1/2 the local population Mexican.
Scandrick is bad. Nelson is bad.
Smith is below average.
Fuller is average.
Berry ? A stud when healthy.
@jayballer73 yikes. Hope not
@Kcmatt7 I see, I was thinking more genetics and aptitude. I spend a little (very little) time there every year and it never inspires thoughts of football for me. I’m usually downtown and it’s all scrawny somewhat rich people looking like they need a meal, though. -I know it’s not all like that- I’ve never looked at it through a football lens. Not doubting there are recruits to be had, just not a place I would have thought to look.
My stereotypes are old fashioned, I guess. Look for a good farm kid with a big frame. He knows how to work and take a beating already, just teach him football (small town in the Midwest pretty much anywhere). So I don’t think of Denver much, even though it’s got well over a million people in the metro area. No reason there shouldn’t be a recruit or two a year for KU, but I’m betting Les spends more efforts recruiting south and east than that far west given his reputation in the geography.
@mayjay KU really hasn’t played that caliber of competition either.
@jayballer73 Grimes could use a couple of those games IMHO.
@Kcmatt7 is there good football recruiting in Denver?
I’d rather root for the guys wearing white hats, not gray, definitely not black. Hurts to do the right thing by the rules here. Character building I suppose.
@stoptheflop I’m not positive, but I believe it would go to the third tiebreaker of record against common opponents with the Denver loss biting the Chargers in the rump.
