I'm not sure how you can watch the team with Dajuan off the court and think he is the problem.
I feel like the biggest issue for this team is a lot of the pieces don't fit well together. Too many non-shooters but also Storr doesn't make much sense on a roster with Zeke and Hunter.
Juan in a vacuum isn't the problem, but his weaknesses are magnified by the roster construction. There are a lot of good things Juan does that I think people take for granted.

The one time I chatted with those two I tried to get them to imagine being the next great Kansas bigs. Twin towers in the paint as upper class men.

To elaborate a bit. Both risky and smart to not go the retread route. McCarthy isn’t winning in the playoffs. Carol is good, but a pretty short term option. Other known options were less appealing. I’d say it was a good hire.
@wissox He was the hottest offensive coordinator option. I believe he will help Caleb immensely. How he manages the rest of the team? His coordinator hires will be telling.

@Kcmatt7 Greene was one of the best shooters I can recall playing for KU. Too bad he was such a hot head. It was heart warming to see he helped save a someone from a car wreck after getting let go, but I was hoping it was him that he saved.

You don’t have to tough it out, the first sign of adversity just transfer. Don’t grow and overcome, just look for a better situation in the near term.
@BShark Chenal has blocked a field goal to win a game against the Broncos, another in the divisional round and one more in the Super Bowl. He already belongs in the hall of good, even if he never earns a yellow jacket. Great roll player.
It’s been proven time and time again that Self does try to maximize the talent he has. Some guys only get short run to hide their flaws. It leaves us fans salivating for more and thinking the coach is a fool for benching whatever roll player is the flavor of the week. When given extended minutes they almost always prove to be just that - a roll player with serious holes in their game that the coach has to scheme around.

Because the blood is flowing in an area of the body with little to no fat to protect it. If it was truly dangerously cold it wouldn’t be rosy pink. It’s really it that bad out - very little wind and no moisture.
