Also, I agree more with your numbers in big games. Except Wilson.

Wilson should be a bit of a match up challenge in the 3--4. He has the "scoring" prowess that Self loves in that 4 role that Self willed Mario Little and Vick into over the years. We need someone that can get in the middle of those ZONES and bust them open. I think Wilson will be about right. But then, he has the range to step out around the arc. It would make sense to play small ball with him at the 4. I would then go big by putting him at the 3. We all know Self has been forced into small ball, and will go to that when needed. Actually I'd say Self has had some significant results with small ball.

Well just got through listening to an interview that our local sports talk had with Dennis Dodd - which wrote this article - from the NCAA and Schools:

Question was asked to Dodd: - -Are you surprised with the way this NCAA High official came out and spoke of things the way he did?

Dodd's answer was he was Stunned, - being said Dodd has been around along time - -seen and heard a lot of things - Saying that if he is saying that he was stunned - -he is thinking this is going to be worse then people think. - Talking about the NCAA really wants to make a statement with this.

Dodd was asked if he thought KU was going to be one of the six Schools that gets notice - -his response? - -no stunner here - -he says it would seem very reasonable that they would be. - -He says too though that he knows that KU will be vigerously defended by one of the very best that there is. - -Saying that what they may get charged with and what they end up with may be totally different.

@Bosthawk I think the DeSousa decision was related to the student-athlete and his particular situation. Think of it this way -- we played a player, through the final four, who was then suspended for a full season. Further, it might give an insight into the NCAA's view of the seriousness of this when they hit DeSousa with a two year suspension initially. That's a big deal. Also, remember, the appeals board is a different composition - the Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee. The Duke thing has me very interested too, and I would be curious as well as to what the NCAA is doing on that -- if we are hit with sanctions.

If Ochai can get comfortable dribbling and improve his ball-handling from last season then he will take his game to another level. His handle looked pretty good in this video and he was creating shots for himself and for other teammates. I've heard his shot has improved too.

I am the leader of the DMac bandwagon but I don't think he'll get the minutes to be most improved player for Kansas. I think he takes a big leap in 20-21 as a junior.

The staff is in contact with both. I’d guess Bilau visits first, but neither has been offered. Neither will until the staff sees them. Self wants Bilau to visit KU last, so they’ll figure out a date once Bilau is done taking visits to states not named Kansas. I don’t know anything about a potential visit from Wür. He wasn’t even cleared for NCAA competition until this week.
