Well just got through listening to Longs talk. Kind of interesting he states that Age will not be a factor.

@Wigs2 Get the right coach and money going into the program and you can play above your historical station. KSU did that for awhile, Clemson is doing it now*. KU did it with Mangino. The money aspect is really important. The next hire needs to be good to put butts in seats. Football money is huge.

*Not saying KU can get to Clemson's level at all. KU clearly has a lower floor and ceiling.

sorry man but I have to totally disagree with you on Clint's side of the ball. The defense is much better. Yesterday is a perfect example.

Other then two big plays yesterday the defense did more then hold there own. - -ONE of those two our DB was in perfect position , the only problem was all in height. - -One was 6'6 Hasan was a good 6-7 inches shorter just out jumped him plain truth. Great goal line defense. - -Leads the Nation in opposition true nothing yesterday but still . The defense kept it respectable - -only outscored 7-3 in the 2nd half yesterday.

If it wasn't for the defense - you look other then the points they did have - they didn't have even any other possibilities - excluding the goal line stand. - now you look at our possibilities?

Robinson drops a wide open TD pass - that's 7 - - - Deep in ISU territory Robinson stripped - -7 or 3 at the very least. - - - I think twice we were inside the ten couldn't score. Still stimid as to why when you have the ball at like the three been running well and all of a sudden you throw THREE straight passes don't even try to run it once - -that's Beaty play calling. - -No not at all on the defense - -They have shown a lot of improvement , still having to be on the field way to long , because of our inept Offense

You consider the last 3 games for Iowa State they have scored 48 , 30 , 41 , - -today they score 27. - - their scoring average their last 3 games - -39.3 - - - their yardage the last 3 games 461.2 - -today right at 100 yards less -- -So the Defense for sure did their part. - - plus 1 of those big touchdowns by Butler - -Hasan was right there with him - - only thing Butler 6'6 - -Defense almost a ft smaller.

Offense ? - -I don't even can count how many low snaps the center gave Bender - just screwed every thing up. - None of this makes anything any better - -but the defense held up pretty well

I watched that game off the Sec network, until like right around the 10 and 1/2 minute mark in the 2nd half it was a 9 point game , got kind of tense in the last 3 minute or so couple of scuffles but not a whole lot Not real impressed.

IUP looked pretty quick shot fairly well who knows, but stayed with him till actually about the 9 minute mark -- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayhawkcsg -Think there is a very good chance for him as a redshirt , It's all about numbers - Good player , Gonna be a very good player , BUT even in these exhibitions we have seen how his minutes was played in both games. He doesn't redshirt this year -- -it's a wasted year for him. - Why not redshirt when if you don't your buried in the rotation/ - - be the 8th-9th man in the rotation , again his minutes even in these exhibition you saw when he was coming on the floor and the amount of minutes he was playing, he redshirts this year - -a lot more next year, ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Two major things from the exhibition games I think and am sure most will agree is - - -the main thing - -we just HAVE to get control of is the turnovers- - -42 turnover's equals 21 per - -that is not going to get it, just got to get that in check. - -The other observation/ take is - -- MAN Udoka looks so much better shooting in his touch shooting free throws.

What I think about the possibility of Redshirts is -- our boy from KC can't spell his name and he will be nice - -but I think the possibility of him then Redshirting is very possible - - THEN , maybe -- maybe Lightfoot is the other possibility. -- I mean actually if would benefit Mitch to and could be in the end run- -I think the way our recruiting Is going for us - -he could help us more next year then this year. - -Especially if we end up missing on Hurt too then He would for sure help is more next yr we shall see - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Well guys I mean I know - - I know it's just two exhibition games. I think however and feel we just might struggle a little bit until we really find ourselves this Season.

The game just might be a little interesting Tuesday night with Michigan State could be pretty close , again just like we are struggling now - -we have got to quirt making -unforce turnovers. - Sure a lot different from last year in our 3 pt shooting - -but we all knew we weren't going to be as good in that dept.

Grimes has had a slow beginning in exhibition play , but not really concerned - -just got to get that playing time- -it will come , as far as tonight goes - - Vick looking a little better -- HEY Udoka -- the 2 free throws he has shot looked really fluid very nice just got to keep after it..
