@kjayhawks I watched the last one on television and wished I was at the game the whole time. It's Jayhawk football in April. Nice. When KU played basketball in Korea, it was great to get an early start on the basketball season. By attending the spring game, I hope to get an early start on the 2017 football season. RCJH
@REHawk Josh was the beneficiary of some close calls in the OState game. As much as I want to complain about the calls that go against him, it probably does even out if a less biased observer watched the calls for and against Josh throughout the season. I love the guy. I don't know the date yet, but our spring game is only 3 months away. Let's make plans now to attend the spring game and start this make or break season the right way. Even a modest amount of fan support goes a long way.
How long has it been since you've walked down Jayhawk Boulevard on a spring day? I can't think of a better way for a Jayhawk football fan to spend a Saturday afternoon in April. RCJH
The Chiefs don't get the weather advantage Sunday, since Pburg is use to the cold. I like the Chiefs to win at home and I think the offense will show up for the game. I expect there to be a ton of excitement in the stadium for the home playoff game, which will carry over to the offense. I very much admire the dedicated Chiefs' fans who brave the weather and now the evening hour to attend the game. I'll be supporting the Chiefs from my nice warm and dry home with a beverage and my family. Go Chiefs.
The OState box score exhibits a growing concern: Only the starters scored; the only 2 bench players to even play took just 4 shots in a combined 29 minutes. Vick, 20 min. 0/3, 5 rbs. and Bragg, 9 min. 0/1, 2 rbs.
Just as concerning, Lucas took only 2 shots in 30 minutes of play. So, can a team of 4 guards and Lucas to rebound win championship number 13 and go deep into the tourney?

Our guards against the OState guards: I like our chances. I do hope to see better defense from our 1 and 2 on the perimeter shots. This is not a team that uses it's 4 and 5 to score, so our guards don't need to be in the paint on defense. Man up, get in the opponent's space like Frank did with Buddy, and make it impossible for Evans, Carroll and Forte to get off clean shots. Next. RCJH
I had high expectations for Ryan and wish he had been given more starts early in last year's season. I wish Ryan well and I thank him for his contributions and efforts at KU.

What is it with officials in Morgantown: calls of 3 seconds, palming and a hook all against Baylor. Baylor has 22 TO's, but the refs are certainly helping that stat.
@Hawk8086 Baylor has had a tough time holding serve at home against I State and O State. They seem very vulnerable home and away.
West Virginia's offense is not that impressive. Other than putting us in a better position to be No, 1, why isn't everyone rooting for the home loss. Win at home, don't lose away games to the bottom league teams=Championship. Doesn't KU benefit more from a W. V. home loss than a Baylor win?

I wore my KU gear to work today. Tuesday night is just some fine Big 12 basketball viewing. The league is more exciting this year than I can remember in years' past. I'll even be checking in on KState v TT, while watching our game. I heard Vegas has a 5 to 1 betting line on the Baylor W. Virginia game going to OT since we play the 8 pm game. JK
Landen is not only a steady presence at the 5 for us, but if you've ever heard him answer questions from reporters you know he's intelligent, educated, and well spoken, like Perry. Cox cable televises the pregame and post-game shows on the Jayhawk Network. I learn a lot about our players as individuals off the court during the interviews. The interview answers also help to remind me how young our player are. Some avoid eye contact and giggle like preteens. You saw that in the clip where Svi is asked if he travelled. For me, the interviews just add to my enjoyment of our players.

@DoubleDD I'm happy with the win and most of the game elements, but we can't just let teams shoot unguarded 3s over and over from the top of the arc. Why not guard it? TT was 11/28 from the 3. One of these days, a team will beat us if we continue to let 3 balls go unguarded.
@HawkChamp I thought the 3 point defense was the same: poor.
Our guards are always in the paint when TT releases the 3. Poor defense.
@bskeet Slow motion doesn't show how much force was used. The push made Lucas step back. And what was up with the TT player's reaction to Lucas talking to him. He was trying to draw a T on Lucas.
