@KUSTEVE And even the 2500, which Silvio denied and still denys knowledge of and for which there is not a shred of evidence. Why would the NCAA reinstate Silvio?
@Texas-Hawk-10 that will be a must see. Wish him the best. I do know this, Sampson - he's a great coach! - loves his teams to D up. Grimes at point? This will be interesting.
@HighEliteMajor It's called lack of proof, man,,,, which is the only thing that they have... Why has Silvio been ruled eligible? And we never played Preston. So quick, what is our punishment going to be?
I guess Grimes is going to Houston, as I thought he would. Good luck with that - Sampson loves him some D.
@Texas-Hawk-10 I criticized his play from the get go, saw what he wasn't almost immediately. But have never said that I don't wish him only the best.
This is an opinion site, and we are talking about Grimes so I offered my opinion. And it is not just an opinion but fact, Grimes can't play. Where should he transfer to? Perhaps Sam Houston.
@jayballer73 I'm not talking crap, just speaking facts. Grimes was not ready for primetime and I'm glad that he's moving on. It wasn't just Vick that was the cancer, it was Grimes too. I wish him the best, but am glad that he'll be on another team.
@FarmerJayhawk Maybe so.... But the exams are in English, as they should be.
@HighEliteMajor Which I understand. But what do they really have? They have squat, that's what. What do you think our punishment will be?
@HighEliteMajor The moral compass? And I'm also a dick for criticizing Grimes.
@Crimsonorblue22 That would very much suck... I think that the two schools getting the hammer are going to be Arizona and Louisville, and NC State and Okie State next, then us and whoever the other school is - I forget its name. We'll hopefully only get repimanded and lose a scholarship for a couple years, but not have to forfeit any games and be eligible to play in the post-season. I'm actually thinking that we might get even less than that.
@Texas-Hawk-10 I think that Dick will be a positive force for us. Grady.....
Wah, wah, wahhhhh
@FarmerJayhawk I mean, let's be real, they are supposed to be taking classes (though in reality many of them are not) in American universities, right? What, do teachers need to be bi, tri or quad-lingual? And if not, why should the tests be in anything other than English?

The "I" before "E" rule, as explained by Brian Regan.
“I" before "E" except after "C" and when sounding like "A" as in neighbor and weigh, and on weekends and holidays and all throughout May, and YOU'LL ALWAYS BE WRONG NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY!!!!”
All these ancient rules! Because of my English deficiency, I forfeit an opinion. My participation would not be efficient, or sufficient!
Me no know... Coach Marco just pawn in game of life.
@Crimsonorblue22 See Jeff run. See Jeff run fast.
@Crimsonorblue22 Thanks, teacher...
@BShark I'm pretty high on Xavier Foster, but if we can get this guy (who I've never heard of but seems to be a baller) I would be very happy. Is it just me or has there been a KU recruiting shift, concentrating mostly on four stars rather than a boatload of fives? I think there has been, and I'm all in.
@drgnslayr I would say it was alot of both.
@KUSTEVE I agree one all counts. I just didn't feel last year's team, even when we were winning. This year, though, I think we can be special. De Sousa is going to foul out of alot of games, because he's going to play like a mad man.
@drgnslayr I was thinking the same thing. That Europe has talent there is no longer any question, and they're so damned fundamentally sound.
@BShark Yeah, once Dok went down that was pretty well all she wrote. But I agree on Lawson. Where would we have been last year without him?
@Fightsongwriter No question. Our bigs haven't been the same since Manning left.
@approxinfinity Cool. Where then?
I want to see Thompson ball at KU. I have a good feeling about this one guys.
@approxinfinity That dude can flat out ball! What do you think? Think Lawson would be a good fit in San Antonio?
@jayballer73 @BShark Just said that it is, indeed, Thompson. Need to hit a grand slam!
@kjayhawks Yeah, and look at Kentucky the year that they were undefeated. Look at Cal and Roy loading up on all the grad transfers, they recognize it too. I'm telling you, I'm bigtime down with the class that we signed this year!
@BShark Agreed.
@KUSTEVE I hear you there.
@jayballer73 Man, I hope. Last I heard there was some kind of scheduling conflict.
You know, I'm thinking that San Antonio would be a hell of a good fit for Lawson.
So, what we're all saying is we're ready for some freaking defense? I miss those days when the opposition scored 65 or 70, and we averaged about - just a ballpark - 84. Some can be attributed to the Big12 getting better (which it has) but not all. We've got the horses this year.
I am really looking forward to this season. It is not often where a team has 12 scholarship players and all 12 can play, a good problem to have. It's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.
@KUSTEVE I hear what you're saying, horses need to be fed.

@drgnslayr When he puts it all together, and he will put it all together ... either this year or next... we're going to feel ashamed how we dogged him.
I love this post. We’re going to realize how important Marcus is in this rotation however it’ll be after he graduates. We talk about moving away frown AODs and move closer to a 4 star who bleeds crimson and blue. Marcus is that guy we want.
He’ll be a bench player but have started minutes.
Okay guys, I get it.... I was a bit harsh in regard to Marcus. Even coaches can be wrong. Sincerely, Coach Marco
🐕 Ruff, ruff, Lol. I'll say this, looking forward to seeing how he fits into the rotation this season and how much time he gets. I'll admit it, I probably seemed to be unfairly dogging on him and didn't mean to be so blunt. Next time I'll type less while drinking more....
@jayballer73 Rankings like that for KU football I can live with.
@jayballer73 Didn't say he hasn't done squat, either. Relax, take a xanex.
@jayballer73 That is not the same as saying that he should
@FarmerJayhawk I want everyone's opinion on this, do you think (it seems some have more or less said as much) that he's just a spot up shooter?
@Kcmatt7 Starting 5 - Dok, Silvio, Agbaji, Dotson and Moss.
@jayballer73 I've never said - not one time - that Garrett should transfer.
@jayballer73 Lol! Yeah, and assistant coach Jayballer has already found his replacement, folks, none other than Apollo Jackson, who has arms nine feet long and can play all five positions.
@KUSTEVE Coach Marco Lmao!!
@KUSTEVE I'm high on this team, man. Think we'll be bigtime, but (if I have any concerns) it won't be on the defensive side of the ball.
@Crimsonorblue22 I believe in second chances. I'm just not the one who will give them. Not to players with that kind of baggage.
@BShark damn, that bad?
Agbaji is going to tear it up this year. This team can be a juggernaut defensively, and mix and match offensively.
@BShark Garrett will be a great defensive spark plug coming off the bench. His decreased minutes will allow him to go full bore!
