@Texas-Hawk-10 huh? This is the real tournament. What other tournament are you talking about?
@jayballer73 I hope everything goes well in surgery. Will be thinking about you guys.
I guess the silver lining is that this happened now if the hospitals get overwhelmed later you'll already be in the clear.
Wishing you well.

@FarmerJayhawk nice link, thanks.
@jayballer73 Your feelings about whether people think you're senile were not my point nor are they relevant. You aren't senile.
I'm saying give Biden a chance and assume that he isn't senile and didn't somehow magically get within a stones throw of the highest office in the land despite being senile. He's not senile. That just isn't what is happening here. If that is what you're seeing then I'm asking to please consider watching the last democratic debate. He murdered Bernie. See it with your own eyes, then judge.
Look, I was in the same camp as you. Biden seemed to be losing it. But I watched that debate and he was sharp as a tack, and he even said that he's a very good delegator. I don't think Fauci would be facepalming behind a President Biden or saying "what do you want me to do? I can't throw him off the podium" about hte president (i paraphrase). Biden would not get in the way during this crisis because he would have the right people making decisions.

You seemed to have lost a word there. Do I think you're senile? No. Do you think if I took 100 of your sentences where you may have dropped a word (everyone does it) and strung them together in one post trying to convince the public that you're senile (i.e. a Fox News smear job) you might appear senile to someone who takes my word for it? Maybe.
Would Fox News have you believe that Biden is senile by only showing you clips of where he stumbles on a word? For sure. Is he actually senile? No.

Sorry about that. Forgot to renew the ssl cert, would have made the board gnarly and had to knock it out tonight. Done.
@jayballer73 you think the Democrats are going to give Hillary the nomination?
@jayballer73 this is either entering wingnut territory or a very good trolling.
Came up on my feed. Lilliard total badass drive.
@HighEliteMajor this is why Doke is a POY candidate. Even with Will Wade clearly gameplanning to take Doke out of the equation he finds a way to dominate.
I hope Moss bounces back from this slump. Even though Brauns contributions have been nice we need Moss to give us good minutes. That meltdown down the stretch is what Moss was brought on to help us avoid.
Huge win!
@Crimsonorblue22 :loudly_crying_face: :broken_heart: awful
Enjoyed this move from LeBron.
@KUJayhawks67 JJ was 38%? My recollection was off on that! Good call there. I remember him being CLUTCH! That baseline drive and dunk in Duke's face was priceless.
I would love to see the high-low come back with 2 guys that can compliment each other and run it. Dave and Doke looked lost together (mostly I think because Dave just isn't a 4) but I definitely think Self's dream of a functional high low throwback in a 4-1 era is achievable with different personnel.
Tre Jones declared.
@BeddieKU23 he will play for sure. But unless he has a 3 gun or plays significantly better defense than Tristan, Jalen (or Tyon?) I'm assuming they will get the nod over Mitch in must win situations. I can see Mitch starting the season as a starter, but Im not sure he will finish it as one.

@Crimsonorblue22 Remember Billy Packer almost jinxing us by declaring the game over. I mean we were winning by something like 25, but it was the 1st half and we did nearly give it all away before reasserting ourselves.
I also appreciated Danny Greens effort. The only Tarheel that came to play.
@KUJayhawks67 so Mason/Chalmers/Jackson/Simien/Embiid. I really like how you're borrowing from a variety of different generations of Self ball. Frank played 1 year with Embiid and 1 with Jackson but I think that's the only overlap. My weakest link here I think Wayne at the 4. I think he didn't shoot the 3 enough for today's bball without masking that with a deadeye SF. This team has balance, defense, and complete badasses. It would be a pleasure to watch them compete and I'm sure they could figure out everything by March under self! Also the right bench could get us flush with 3 ballers.
Welcome to the board! Great post.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I am definitely taking the under on 20-25 minutes for Mitch. I think Self is perfectly happy having Mitch at practice and on the bench for 2 years instead of 1 regardless of his role in-game.
Self didn't redshirt Mitch to sit him next year. If that's Self's plan, then what was the purpose of redshirting him this year? If that's the idea, then that's a total waste of a scholarship this season when Self could've used it on another player. Self redshirted Mitch to play him this season.
I disagree. With 13 scholarships and a rotation typically of max 8, Self can spend a scholarship on a quality character that makes the team better. Look at our chemistry this year. Outstanding. Mitch I'm sure played a part.

@wissox lol. Good one
@Texas-Hawk-10 well he gets a free year of college and gets to play on possibly 2 championship contending KU teams. It seems like that's what the kid grew up dreaming of. I don't think not starting next year was a deal breaker to red shirting.
Devonte, Rush, Mario, Jackson, Embiid.
That's a 4-1 lineup that takes the heart of our champ team imo (Rush/Mario) , and swaps RussRob and Shady for a 40% trey gun and Jackson, and a freak OAD at the 5 for Kaun.
I can't believe I'm not taking Frank. But honestly as amazing as Frank was, DTae was the glue of that team, and with all those weapons around him I think he would be an unstoppable lead guard.
My other big dilemma was Svi or Jackson. I really want to take Svi to have 2 40% trey guns but he would get abused at the 4 and Jackson, while the lesser shooter, was a better utility 4.
@Texas-Hawk-10 possibly Enaruna or Wilson?I'm assuming Mitch gets minutes but his minutes have a ceiling. Maybe 10-15
This is so sad. I hope this is their worst day and things turn for the better tomorrow for Italy.
@Texas-Hawk-10 said in KU Team Picking Thinger:
@BShark Svi was too one dimensional to me. He's a sniper an not much more. His only other skill to me that was above average was his ball handling. He was a subpar defender and rebounder and average at driving.
He was an underrated passer.
We started germinating seeds today.
@HighEliteMajor I fell asleep before the game and woke up from a horrible dream to find Kansas rolling. Thank you for catching me up on the action!
@Texas-Hawk-10 Whoops. Good point. I need to differentiate better between the lame forces of college basketball. :)
I rank ESPN as second rate gutter trash, so I guess we are even.
I dont know. Shoudl we use curbside? I havent left my house in 4 days.
I know very little about football. Can someone please explain to me if it was a surprise that the Rams released Todd Gurley. Is it unusual to let someone of his stature go at age 26?
@drgnslayr You're damn right about that.
6-23 against a much worse KU defense last year.
@Crimsonorblue22 there's one in my county and a couple others in neighboring counties. It's everywhere. This isn't going away. and here I thought the previous generation always gave their kids more complicated f'd up problems than they inherited. Nothing like going to a crowded beach for spring break. Too bad our elderly have to pay the price for it.

I agree it was Baylor. Winning the Big 12 was a big deal. And finishing the season with 15 wins in a row. We haven't finished that hot in a while.
But, the Duke game was a disappointing start and that Dayton game was lit! Super fun watch. True test of our grit.
Lol. The first thing I thought was he gave you some coronavirus. His gift was much better. :face_with_tears_of_joy: thanks for sharing. Nice of him!
@Texas-Hawk-10 no Love (I just checked) the other pro was Aaron Afflalo, so 4 very solid NBA starters including an MVP
@wissox I want to watch that Ucla game again. For a game I never rewatched I think about it an awful lot. I remember thinking how terribly unfair it was that we had to play them in California when we were the one seed. I think they also had Mbah Moute and possibly other pros. That UCLA team was loaded.
@jayballer73 good stuff. I appreciate your takes. It is good to be realistic and I think we are better able to discern reality by getting many different thoughts. Pooling our resources.
