Bill said no suspension for Josh. I haven't heard, but serisouly doubt any suspension will be handed down for Devonte.
Someone needs to rub out the hard on the the LPD has for KUs players.
Because no one cares about Creighton. It's only news because it's Kansas players. These things happen all over, but it's only news because of who it is.

@nuleafjhawk Last game we had a nearly 20 second delay. Greg Gurleys melodic pipes or Walton's drug fueled ramblings, what a decision. Better than Fran!
Yesterday Oklahoma was sucking and Nebraska was blowing. Here I was stuck in the middle with some terrible wind.
Selden finally had a healthy year, his shot fell at a higher rate than he could sustain over a higher volume and he couldn't project better. His misfortune was the old injury bug came back to bite him.
Graham hasn't peaked in college, but is old. The only reason he should feel pressure to leave is due to his age. He can improve his draft stock if KU wins out this year or if he shows out next year. Either way and he's gone. However if KU flames out in the tourney I'd say its 50/50 with the better option to return.
It's much easier for us to say what is the right decision than for him to make a decision he must live his life with.

I hope the lack of national exposure doesn't hurt Frank's POY chances, but the whole game was on ESPN even if the after game hype on ESPN.com is minimal. Or Bills recruiting.
I also hope that KU flys under the radar into the National Championship. I'd rather not play with the biggest bullseye. Leave that to Kentucky, UNC or Duke, we already know KU is better.
@BShark Kansas HS talent is difficult to judge give the low level basketball that is played. Probably true most places, but you can go all four years of HS without playing against a D1 talent in kansas. Makes the kids difficult to grade out.
you should watch the video aprox. It's funny watching the MU fans finally get behind something. It's just a Cal you suck chant, but at last they were unified.

At KU there are always 5000 people waiting at the airport.
Maybe I was watching ESPN 2 but I saw a several minute deal on KU's 13 vs UCLA's 13. A woman I didn't recognize, Andy Katz, and Fran all said what KU did was more impressive. It ran all night and maybe this morning as well (too busy to check) I hope you can catch it.
If it makes you feel any better, I missed the 'Cuse/Duke highlights completely.

@HawkInMizery Yeah! That was the only Big 12 tournament I've had the pleasure of attending. We went to almost all the games. (I missed one of the early round games of OU) It was awesome to see all the different fans. It's a completely different experience than you get at any one of the college's bb courts. The fan base is 50%KU, 20%KSU, 20%ISU, 5%Oklahoma schools, 3%Texas, 2%the rest (including lost MU fans).
I recommend getting whole session tickets, as opposed to just going to the KU games. It's a lot of good basketball. The crowd is the best for the KU games, but it's fun to watch crowd as well as the game. It's amazing how different fan bases can see a game.
How in the world is KU ranked 10th in the BPI? Within the BPI metrics KU is ranked #1 for Strenght of Record, #1 RPI, #4 Strength of Schedule, and 10th in the BPI. Behind West Virginia #4 and Duke #7.
This is a broken ranking system.
As I recall KU won Big 12 tourney the years they tied in an unbalance schedule. The only tie (with KSU) during a balanced year KU won the big 12 tourney also.

@elpoyo But you didn't say anything objective, inciteful, or introspective. You only threw out an unqualified jab. In case you haven't noticed the conference title is one of the goals that you try to achieve along the way to a national title. Yes you can win the NC without a conference title, but if you aren't good enough to win your conference, what makes you good enough to win the National title? Last I checked there are over 300 disappointed teams at the end of the year with only one truly happy (NIT doesn't count).

Vick seems to want to start. The carrot of a starting spot is being dangled in front of him to get him to play better. Vick seemed to get content after he had started a few games and disappeared. Now he seems to be asserting himself a little more. Not starting seems to being working for Bill to motivate Vick.
Svi looks like he needs more confidence. When he first came back from the Ukraine he was very confident. He needs some of that swagger back; starting helps build him up. Starting helps Svi's confidence making him a better player.

@ralster Right, but I can understand not wanting to hurt others as his decision will to some extent. A boon to one program a bust to another. KU will be fine either way, but I'd sure like this kid to lead KU the next couple of years.
I'm just saying you can be considerate off the court and be an alpha on it. We shall see. I hope to see additional high character guys on the roster to balance out some of the recent bad crap.
