Well, the Baylor debacle still stings today. I was proud of our guys playing well in the first half and then embarrassed by the second half no show. Something has got to change with this team. I'm tired of KU being overranked preseason, then not playing well enough to get to the second week of the NCAA tournament. This team may not even get to the second game. Well, there's always football to look forward to. Oh, wait Illinois-L, UNLV-L, West V-L, TCU-L, Az ST-L, then Baylor 45 KU 17. I'll feel better once I peruse the Rupp Rafters site; misery loves company, right?

Omier vs Flory and Hunter. Hunter should be able to get his shots. If he is automatic from 5' - 7' he will get his 20+. Zeke can get to the rim for a couple and a couple from mid range, 4 FT makes plus two makes from three land. That's an easy 20+. I think Coit is getting his game all in one bag and shooting 37% from deep. Give the man some minutes. Rylan has a good feel for the game not just from three but he needs to get open looks. Nine or ten threes will get us a solid 70+ which will make Baylor vulnerable. Prediction KU 75 - 68.

I like the chrome helmets TCU is wearing today. Crazy what athletic wear providers are putting on the fields these days.
Looking ahead, the schedule has two home games, Fresno St and Wagner(?), then 3 away games, Missou, Ariz and ISt, 4 home games, Utah, OKSt, KSt, Cinci, then the final 2 games away, TX Tech and Centr Fla. Wagner College is in Staten Island. Current enrollment is about 2000 students. The football team plays in a 3300 seat stadium. So, where can next year's team get 6 wins to be bowl eligible? This sucks watching KState, Nebr and so many other teams play in bowl games. I'm still butthurt by the Baylor beat down.
