Dayton has some impressive results so far, but tonight League foe Cincy has held them to 2 baskets in the first 14 minutes. 18-8 with 6 minutes left had me checking to see if I was actually looking at a football score.

Also read that JUCo's can now have 4 years of DI eligibility. Add in a redshirt year or two and a dude can be in college for 8 years.
Also also read that there are teams in the playoffs that are paying extra NIL money to kids to stay through out their playoff games. Penn St. lost their backup quarterback to the portal. Insane and it may cause me and many others to move their fandom to other sports/activities.
Our favorite punching bag pants on backwards really embarrassed himself. Called D-2 Michigan Tech “nobody-U” before playing them and then got whooped by 20. His team is now 2-10. MTech is in the wonderful twin cities of Houghton Hancock in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Copper country. Hockey school that plays it really well in D-1.
Now maybe Drake really is good, but k stale lost to them last night on a buzzer beater. The mildcats had to come back from 29-9 to tie it.

Might as well man up and take this by the reigns and chat our way to a big win over the Wolfpack of NCState. Easily the most likeable of the Triangle area teams they finally earned a P5 win the other day by beating FState. Otherwise, they're 0-3 against other decent teams and beat up on teams like Presbyterian, William and his wife Mary, and other directional minor minors.
Of course our team is a hot mess and predictions of doom and gloom are in the room. Hunter soft, DaJuan shoulda retired after 2022, KJ has lost interest, Storr and Rylen are scared to screw up, flory too raw, Mayo regressing to mid major self and we all need Shaq to solve our woes. About sums it up but I think we still win by about a dime, 74-64 as AFH's 16,300 cheer them....uh, shoot, what is it now? 15,000? IDK, but it really should still be 16,300 because they'd still sell that many if they were available.

It's already open to every team. Conference tournaments serve that purpose.

A DC is only as good as his players and that's a concern of mine with our team. Maybe it's the bad taste from the Baylor game but I generally feel like this team can't stop anyone.

podcast on way home from meeting new granddaughter (makes this loss not sting a ton TBH) said we have lost 10 of 13 true road games now. This isn't good. I'm at a loss and I didn't even watch the game. Such a promising start to the season has a lot of question marks.
@BShark @Crimsonorblue22 LOL, Was thinking about that! I was in Minnesota meeting my new granddaughter. Wanted to listen to the Jayhawker podcast on way home about Grimes leaving and they'd already put up a podcast about the game. Spared me from having to watch it when I got home which was just now. I'll see if I can get us back on track next game!

I will try to warn my fellow Badgers this isn't a good thing, but if it takes him out of Lawrence then this is good.
I was pretty shocked the 2nd half comeback fell apart. We blitzed them early in the half with some good defense leading to easy bucket run-outs. Then as frequently happens, but not to us too much, the comeback halted after we climbed to within 1. Lots of energy spent to get it close, A lot of self satisfaction 'we did it' and we just let up very quickly and got blitzed shockingly fast.
The part of the game I didn't like was DaJuan. Huge supporter of the young man but he just kept shooting. SoloBall was introduced in the game thread early on and I felt DaJuan was playing Solo Ball. I'm surprised Bill didn't try to reign him in. Maybe that's part of Selfs lesson he was trying to teach.
Surely ya'll have heard about Manfred the Least's latest ideas. The man who brought us a pitch clock, A+, Banned the shift D+, 1oth inning ghost runner F, larger bases A- now wants to let teams use any player to bat once in a game, even if said player is already in the game. F-. What do you all think?
