Neither of my buddies are the bitter-type either. Not exactly a ringing endorsement if that's all KU can add at this point grad transfer-wise.

The gist I got is that he is similar to Vick and Selden. If his first couple shots go down watch out but he is extremely inconsistent. Also a laid back kind of guy that clashed with their coach a bit, not sure he is a fit with Self if true.

I think he's fine as a bench piece but not a starter.

If the fail case is starting Dotson, Garrett and Agbaji it's not the end of the world but adding RJ would solve a lot of issues...

And on this NBA thread .. I watched the 4th quarter of the Philly/Toronto game. Amazing defense by the Raptors down the stretch.

But the difference is that the effort on defense is given night in, night out in CBB. Not in the NBA. But what I saw last night was a clinic. Shows what they can do max effort. Philly could barely get a partial look at the hoop.

Lots of nights off in the NBA. I don't generally tune in until the playoffs.

Stealth visits like this seem to be a huge positive. It means that things are moving quickly, one would think. Would love to close on this kid, get more positive momentum and immediately helps shore up a weakness on next year's team.

I'd certainly take him at this point as well. After missing on Tucker that is to say, but it was worth pursuing Tucker first.

@jayballer73 grad transfer so eligible immediately. He's not a PG. Looks like he does a bit of everything, won't be a star for us but a solid contributor. Shot 42% from three last year on 114 attempts.

Well, KU didn't really go after Holyfield much. Tucker on the other hand is a clear miss.

What sucks is that I'd most definitely rather get Holyfield than Precious. But it is what it is.

Exactly. He's not going to go somewhere to be a bench cog. He wants to showcase in his last year to hope to go pro. Especially after his injury, you know he wants to show out.

If the staff has basically quite recruiting him (coming from Bedore, who is probably being fed that info by the staff) you know they must really feel good about their chances elsewhere.

I reaaaaally want Silvio, but I don't trust the situation.

The cutesy factor here is that each group is from the same draft class.

No draft class in the last 10 year or more is touching Bron/Melo/Wade. Hell you might be able to take the three best guys from the last 10 years like you basically did (though damn, Durant is old now and just out of that 10 year window) and it would be much more interesting.

Even if you play this game right now with Wade in a wheelchair I don't think this is close lol. Old Melo would still abuse Tatum.
