Need opinions: the Lawson’s and Moore practiced for a year while red-shirting. However, didn’t the volume of their practice time during the season relegate them to “scout team” work? How much time was put into learning Self’s offense and defense?
After a year of red-shirt, it looks like the players need time running the primary offense/defense before they’re productive. Recent examples include Newman and Cunliffe.
I’m curious. What say ye?

Freakin’ Duke.... Bagley will benefit and Dok will suffer. ACC (or Duke) bias or the perception Bagley is a bigger name will cause Dok to pick up early fouls. Dok’s play will thereby get restricted. That’s my greatest concern when playing Duke.... 🤬
I hope the next trough hits against Ft Hays in our next pre-season...

Harvard gave that game away. They had a double digit lead, then went absolutely cold from the 5 minute mark of the first half until about 13 minutes left in the game, scoring only 7 points. Harvard totally lost their composure...

It seems SDS should be able to effectively play the high post against a zone defense. Given what Vick has been doing (look to pass first, shoot second), Silvio might be able to drive or hit the short jumper (like a free throw).

WKU lost today. Dwight Coleby had only 4 points but 10 rebounds in 20 minutes on the court. Are the Hilltoppers in the NCAAT, bubble team or NIT?

If (IF) KU can hit hit their shots throughout the game at a normal pace, it should add to Jayhawk confidence while degrading the will of the Cowpokes. In the two KU losses, the OSU confidence could be seen (and felt) growing throughout the games while KU floundered around. In retrospect, the NCAAT losses to underdogs had much the same feel IMHO...
I wonder how the other OU players are feeling? Anyone hear anything about their attitude over the last couple of weeks? I thought Lattin might have a pre career somewhere, maybe overseas, but he didn’t show much this year (by design?)
Maybe Vick will get out of his funk....

@jayballer73 - "First degree sprain means the fibers of the ligament are stretched but intact", according to Wikipedia. This is the least of the three types of sprains and, I'm guessing, is fairly common. Of course, at his size, I'm sure it's much more significant.
Doke can't seem to play an entire year without being injured and missing important playing time.
On one hand, he needs to come back to demonstrate durability. On the other hand, maybe he needs to go pro before he gets permanently injured....
