@KirkIsMyHinrich two were on Tuesday and one was today.
Last 3 CB picks for Hampton have been to Memphis. Penny has a real legit shot to close with Hampton, Precious , and Boogie.
@BeddieKU23 They took Harris from Va. Tech who is a sit out transfer.
Does anyone know if Tucker is still planning on visiting this weekend? I think he was due in tomorrow.
I bet Memphis makes a strong push for him. I think they were one of his finalist. Penny has a great chance to end with just a monster class to add to Wiseman.
@FarmerJayhawk Interesting. Wonder what happened there.
North Carolina just took another grad transfer. Justin Pierce from William and Mary. This is the third transfer they have taken.
Dawkins said Izzo told him he was NOT going to pay for Bowen.
Thanks for posting this.
I never thought Devon was going to stay in the draft. However, I was a little surprised he got a full combine invite. He can't shoot it good enough right now to play in the NBA on a consistent basis. I do think that he will be gone after next year though.
I really do hope we hear something about Silvio this week either way. Sivlio, KU, and Coach Self need closure on this and it is about time they get it. I am just under the assumption he will not play until I hear other wise. IF he is able to come back and play that is a huge piece for next years team.
As far as who makes the biggest leap next year I think it will come down too Devon or Dave. it depends on who else we get as far as bigs in recruiting because that will affect Dave's minutes. If Devon comes back we know he is going to play 30-35 minutes a game. The big rotation is still TBD.
Andrew Slater thinks overseas / China could be a option for RJ as well.
Usually not a good thing when a player adds a team this late in the game. As we found out with Stanley. I also saw where he is planning on visiting the other 3 schools in May, but no mention of visiting KU.... ( Unless I missed it)
RJ has officially reclassified to 2019. He took Duke off of his list and added Texas Tech.
I think he stays at Tech. There is no pressure there to win and he has shown he can recruit well there and obviously win at a high level. Going to Texas he is going to have to produce and deal with unrealistic expectations every year. I am also not sure Texas is willing to make the kind of commitment to basketball that it would take to get him there. They haven't yet or ever. I personally hope he stays at Tech. He seems like a really good fit there, and will only make KU and the league better.
Dotson, Dedric, and Q all got invited to the combine. Silvio got a invite to the G league combine. ( never knew there was such a thing)
@jayballer73 Yea, I am pretty sure that is who signed him originally at SFA.
@jayballer73 He is visiting Illinois this week. I thought I saw Wednesday.

Self in ATL watching Hampton
@Kcmatt7 They think K and there program are both invincible, and I don't blame them.
@FarmerJayhawk Exactly what this program needs a lot of. Athletic guys who can shoot.
@jayballer73 the judge said this morning he’s not changing his mind . So I assume he’s not testifying .
Doesn't sound like Miller is going to have to testify.
For those of you that follow KU recruiting closely does it seem like this past year there has been almost no coverage of it? There just isn't a good site that provides any information on updates on any of the recruits that we are after. I just never read anything about who we are visiting how visits went and such. Holyfield visited Monday and I literally haven't seen one word about it.
The only information I really ever see is from Corey Evans or Eric Bossi and it is usually in their little weekly write ups. Just is a lot different than it used to be.
If I’m Bill I’m reaching out to Zeke and Josh Green today and making sure they know he’s there for them if and when Miller gets fired 😬
After reading 3-4 stories on what happened yesterday I don’t see how Miller doesn’t get fired. Nothing in college athletics surprises me but I think Miller will be fired when this is all over.
So maybe Miller won't survive after all...
@dylans If they continue to win then fans won't care. I am not saying that is right but that is just the way it is. If they go to the SB this year then nobody will be talking about character issues.
I remember people flipping out about Tyreke Hill when he was drafted, and then he become a top 5 WR in the NFL and people wear his jersey all over town and chant his name when he returns punts.
Yea, I am not sure why anyone would be surprised by this. I bet this was close to double what Nike and UA offered.
School is officially announcing its deal with Adidas. 14 years for 196M.

It’s unreal. Duke and UK getting top guys for bench spots. We can’t sell a starting spot.
This blows my mind as well. Makes no sense at all.
Looks like Johnny Juzang is going to reclassify to 2019 and commit to Kentucky. He just scheduled a OV there for Monday. KU was believed to be a leader for him a while back.
Looks like the Hauser brothers from Marquette are visiting Wisconsin, Virginia, Iowa, and Michigan st.
I have seen two preseason polls for next year today after players committed and they had KU ranked #3 and #9. Those are both assuming Dotson comes back. I think the doom and gloom of next year is greatly exaggerated.
Bossi thinks Precious ends up at Memphis with Watford now leaning towards LSU with Wade back.
Not a ESPN + subscriber but if you are talking about Jaden McDaniels Washington has long been the favorite to land him, but I think Kentucky is still in there.
@HighEliteMajor shouldn’t the better player that shoots better which this team desperately needs start??
*if Ochai drastically improves his shot this Summer and proves to be the better option he could fit that.
But talent and fit are should be the only thing that matters when it comes to starting and or playing time
@Gorilla72 Right, but having a agent is irrelevant now. Actually you can take money and or accept benefits if they are repaid.
@jayballer73 It doesn't matter this year if you have a agent or not. You can have one and still return to school.
So I have seen two national writers ( Jeff Goodman and Jon Rothstein) mention Grimes when talking about KU's starting 5 next year... It caught my attention because I thought it was assumed he was 100% gone. I am not getting my hopes up about him coming back, but just found it was kind of odd they both mentioned him...
HE IS BACK!!
Charlie is headed to Depaul
Per Sam Mellinger of the Star Silvio will declare for the draft. If he wins his appeal his will return to Kansas though.

Not surprising
EJ Montgomery declared for the draft from UK. Although I think he is more so just trying to get feedback...

He and Watford are mutually exclusive there. If Watford announces for Memphis, here we come.
Seems like Watford is tending towards LSU with Wade back. Although that is a very fluid situation with a new AD and FBI stuff.

About damn time. God grief. I know they want to be thorough, but damn this took a long time.
@Kcmatt7 I thought I saw something like 12 guys. That seems like way too many. I would think around 7-8 guys. Although they have to play in a qualifier in Wichita to even make it to the "real" tournament so maybe some guys are not available for all of the dates.
@BShark If Miller got fired wouldn't Arizona most likely release him anyways? Assuming he wanted out is Miller was no longer around...
