To me two guys getting big paychecks on the defensive side of the ball did absolutely nothing in Jones and Bolton add in Jawaan Taylor offensively who I believe is the second highest paid player on the team that only got penalties. Can’t be paying guys big bucks to not do their job. All 3 should be on the trade block monday.

No reason to panic I think the chargers are a playoff team. I thought Mahomes played really well and the offense did pretty good for having Worthy get hurt right away. But man this defense needs a lot of work, the secondary and linebackers are absolutely terrible. A tight end or back can beat Bolton every single time. Better lock some butts in the film room after that.

This team is gonna look like the chiefs from 2018 to 2020. Score 30 plus points or lose

This passing defense is a joke, there is no one within 5 yards of these receivers half the time or more

I think this is the biggest game in KU football in a long time maybe the bowl games in LL era are higher. This game makes me super nervous it always has and always will because of my hatred for Missouri. One paper it’s a bad look to go lose to a bottom feed in the second historically for both KU and the B12.

@Texas-Hawk-10 @Jhawk69 I think Hunter would’ve been very good had we had some shooters. Several pictures were posted on X the last two years of him have 3 or 4 people on him at all times. When there is zero threat of someone hitting a long shot, just pack the paint. I was never a fan of Juan’s game personally, I hate walking the ball up the floor and dribbling in circles going nowhere just to do it. Kansas basketball is pushing the ball and getting out into fast break. I think we can do that this season. Basketball 1-0-1 easiest why to beat the defense is to beat it down the floor.

I honestly have zero idea of how in the hell they can recruit black players with the history they proudly share. There will be thousands of folks in the stands wearing Quantrill shirts that say burn baby burn. It would be like Germany wearing hitler shirts to the Olympics.

We are marked safe from starting a promising season 1-5 like last season. Little bits here on JD last season vs this season. Last year JD didn’t throw for more than 200 yards til week 6 @ASU and only had 3 games with 250 plus yards thru the air. He had 280 yards last night and his 7 touchdowns are already half of what he had the entire season last year. I’d like to see him start running more and using the option has the competition gets tougher. What a story it would be for this young man to get a redemption story that mirrors that of Jason Bean in 2023.

@Jhawk69 @Texas-Hawk-10 made a game thread it’s just on BB category. We must win the turnover battle next week or we have zero chance of winning. The Big 12 got their butts handed to them this week in any major match up. A good measuring stick game is Mizzou. Most places don’t have them finishing better than 10th in the SEC a loss doesn’t bode well for the B12.

I don’t think there was ton a person could take from this game. That being said I am a little disappointed in the carelessness with the football with 2 turnovers and easily could’ve had 2 more. I don’t like the idea of us not creating turnovers ourselves either. I thought the first team defense looked pretty stout again. I believe they gave up 1 first down and about 30 yards. The second and third team struggled on that side but got some reps so that hopefully helps in the long run. The offense looked good for vanilla play calling outside of a handful of plays. We will find out a lot next Saturday in a hostile environment.

@Crimsonorblue22 nice to see him come out and get a few good plays and hopefully he is done for the night now. 13 turnovers in 5 games last season you can’t blame me for being worried but overall pretty solid again tonight had prob 4 throws he wants back but that’s life.
