@mayjay Hall is a big upgrade imo from Pop, he averages almost a yard more per carry and actually has some long runs. I think the chiefs are better up front than the jets by a fair margin. In terms of the draft, it depends on whom they draft. Sky Moore was a laughable pick as was CEH and Felix. We wasted two first round picks on guys that everyone with brain were low on.

@bskeet definitely didn’t help any because they was scared to run anyone but Hunt. I still think they were stupid for not giving a 3rd round pick for Hall. They need a guy with big play capability. Hunt and Pop have combined for 1 rush for more than 20 yards this season. Sorry but that is pathetic, it’s also pathetic Chris Jones is the highest paid defensive lineman in the NFL and grades out in the mid 60s. Trade him for a couple of younger guy with the Hall trade and this team hasn’t lost since.

I see one of two things happening here, the team folds and only wins a few more games this season. Or the team goes on a run starting next week and Mahomes wins MVP again and the chiefs make the playoffs.

@nuleafjhawk the chiefs put up more passing yards than the broncos average giving up. Just no idea why they out right refuse to run the ball in any capacity.

I put this on Veach, had opportunities before the trade deadline and did nothing. This team isn’t great by any stretch of imagination. They are just average, pending on the rest of the year they maybe be able to squeak into the playoffs. But that was nail in the coffin for the division. 9 years in a row is tough to do, just like KUs 14 straight. It was great but can’t last forever

@FarmerJayhawk listened to post game and it sounds like Dp is unlikely to play Tuesday. I honestly think the only reason they left us ranked is so it’s a feather in Dooks cap. @SlimShaddy54 KSU was preseason top 20, the trendy pick for B12 champions and had Johnson as a heisman hopeful. I don’t think anyone had Kansas winning more than 7 or 8 games. Our season has been disappointing with losing to our rivals and giving away 2 games in the final minute but not the same as theirs.

Ngala seems to be a better player than Mari and Elmarko at this point wish he would get a few more minutes.

The game went about how I figured it would. Flory needs to play hard all the time not just in little spurts. Is Elmarko Jackson the worst 5 star player in recorded history? How the hell was he a top 20 recruit. He showed flashes as a freshman but good god he looks lost as a player can be on both ends.

@drgnslayr lots of rumors flying around right now, which is normal when stuff like this happens. Hearing his team is saying it’s not worth it for him to play in these type of games.

Stinks I was considering going my myself with how cheap tickets looked. This is starting to take a very interesting turn here. Self said he hasn’t practiced this week at all and is still tight. @BeddieKU23 I still think we can grow into a solid team, we just have a long ways to go but heck the last few. years we beat a lot of high profile teams early because we were already what we were. While the others had a much higher ceiling

@BeddieKU23 hard to think otherwise watching us and Dook at this point. With Dp it’s likely a 10-15 point loss without him it’s 25 plus IMO.

DP isn’t getting picked top 5 regardless of his injury issues. This freshman class is very stout. I’d guess he goes 8-12 at this point. He’s definitely not the best freshman in CBB this year.

Mark me as scared that the dook game will resemble the 2014 UK game especially without DP.

Definitely had a conscientious effort on the glass and defense tonight. Man Elmarko just looks like complete horse manure and that maybe offensive to the manure. Ngala looks like much a better player at this point, Elmarko is looking like the next Juan where he never gets pulled no matter what. He got schooled repeatedly to the rim and was so loose with his dribble. He definitely gets the shit bird of the night award.

Definitely becoming. A major concern with Peterson, this team isn’t going .500 without him. A positive is maybe we can get the other guys going a bit here. They face guarded DP the whole game Friday and said someone else beat us. That someone else never got off the bus, Tiller had a good first but no else graded out as passing

Capping off another great KU sports weekend, let me go vomit

Lance had to be more aggressive folks, not going for that 4th and 2 on as as big of a play as any today. We have to stop playing not to lose in close games. It has not worked for 2 years. Lance would have a winning record here and 4 bowl games in 5 years if we could figure out close games.

I’ve been nearly speechless, I literally turned off the game and sat for about 20 minutes before moving. These last few years of being a Jayhawk football fan may have shaved multiple years off my life. I told my son when we went for the FG there we are playing to lose by 1 not win the game. We missed and lost by 4, we had about a dozen plays that should’ve been made to change the out come. The officiating was terrible and those guys should be reprimanded. First off the hold was weak and zero to do with the pick. Add in we were called for DPI and holding several times a piece while they weren’t. Several times you could’ve called them for the same exact thing. Their last drive they got a free timeout and an extra 12 yards when the players knee was clearly down, even circled out on the screen. The clock never started after that til they snapped it and that was wrong. Once the ball was spotted correctly it should’ve started again. I’ve come to the conclusion God hates Kansas football. The defense played their best game for 3 and 7/8 quarters. JD had one of his best games of the year and we still lost.
