Yes, KU basketball is struggling mightily right now - but think back to the middle of the Chief's season. They lost, what, 100 games in a row and STILL came back to win the Super Bowl!! 🏈
That has nothing to do with our basketball season. It was just a nice memory. Sorry.

@RockkChalkk THANK YOU. I've been saying that for years. 17-22 or so year olds cannot get that tired. I used to play ALL DAY in Houston's Herman Park and go back for more on Sunday when I was young. The only way they could be tired like that is if they believe the BS about being tired.
@bskeet Yes. Just like Bill Snyder single-handedly made Manhattan relevant, Lance is going to bring new life to Lawrence. Look for lots of new hotels, restaurants, shopping, etc. soon!
@dylans You know how the fanbase becomes "entitled", right? By winning. More than any other team in the history of college basketball (yeah, I know the NCAA knocked us back a few). If you're a Kansas fan, you expect to win. You don't make excuses for losing. Of course that's my entitled opinion.
I'm an old timer. Back in the Danny Manning era, I used to tape every game (VHS even). I knew every player, every coach, every stat. I knew our records against all of our so called rivals - I was an obsessed KU basketball junkie. It actually was starting to interfere with my home life.
My home life is fantastic now. I haven't watched the last 6 or 7 games. Haven't "taped" a game to watch in years. Actually, my TV does record KU football, basketball and the Chiefs, but I've only watched one KU b-ball game that I've recorded. Against OU a few weeks back.
I guess I've gone from obsessed fanatic to fair weather fan. I like this a lot better. My blood pressure is where it should be most of the time and my wife and I enjoy doing things together or just watching a good movie or show.
I'll watch the March Madness until we get knocked out in the second round by Arkansas Pine Bluff or someone equally lame.

@stoptheflop I was a little frustrated with Daniels the past couple of seasons. Now that my back has been kicking my ass the past 4-5 weeks, I completely understand his position. I hope he's 100% healthy.

This is so upsetting. I have a LOT of family and friends in Kansas City. Including my son. Thank God he's not a sports fan and would never attend something like this.
I am incensed that our jellyfish government allows this bullshit to go on. There's a mass shooting in this country weekly it seems.
This crap doesn't happen in other countries. At least not on the scale that happens here. I wouldn't give a shit if they melted down every automatic weapon on the planet. They can start tomorrow.

@wissox I didn't say that wasn't a big call. But since the beginning of time, the losing team in any sport has blamed the officiating. Just win. Then there's nothing to complain about.
@wissox There is no way we should be talking about refs. We just sucked. If we had played well, there would be no mention of bad calls. My opinion...
