Vick is lazy and dumb. For a sr guard to have 2 possessions like that is ridiculous. He makes lazy passes for TOs, is lazy on D lazy entry passes to post. Just dumb selfish plays.

The lack of a turnover in 60+ minutes for a freshman is really remarkable. Slivio had a TO his freshman year about 3 seconds in! Granted, not a guard. But still. Would be interesting to see how many minutes it took for BRush, or BMac, or Oubre, or Wigs to get their first TO. Now that would be an advanced metric!

Everyone was saying Baylor is not any good and then they beat the team that throttled us. From what i saw BU looked pretty good to me....active post man that scores in and out, strong offensive boarding and 3 guards who can hit the 3. They are all gonna be hard.

@HighEliteMajor I think what this indicates more than a commentary on Dave is that it cements that Silvio will not be playing this year. And that to me is the real death knell on the season.

@BShark I watched most of the Kstate Vandy game prior to ours (i am sick and stuck on the couch). Viewing the game made me even sicker. Ksu is horrible. No way they beat us for the conf. No Dean wade but just tons of bricks, bad shots, and lack of bball skill in general. Our B team would beat them.

I think i have seen enough now....grimes may be a good athlete but he is a bad basketball player. Gets blown by repeatedly, terrible entry passes to the post, bad shot selection, weak D, and stupid plays over and over. Major head case.

He absolutely killed us in this game. Anyone know our +/- with him on the floor?

@Big-Clyde52 Another way to look at it is how may pros were on the team last year vs. this. We lost 2 NBA players and 1 2nd tier pro. Replaced with maybe 1 2nd tier pro and a couple guys who are just not very good basketball players. Moore is slow, small, and makes bad decisions. Grimes may be Sean Pearson 2.0. Dedric is a terrific college player who will play overseas.

We are very overrated at this stage. However, don't forget how much progress we usually make over Christmas break. The genius will be going into his laboratory in just a few days and his track record proves he will come out with some new weird science that results in hoops greatness.

But overall I agree, we just dont have nearly as talented players this year.
