guys I think we have us a team, a team with a lot of guts , showed a lot of toughness. Now I don't think we will get that kind of performance from El Marko every time out but sure is nice e have players that can step up every now and then
Then also Jamari has really steeped up an at least proved he can hit some three's
I think this team and that's what they are , seem like they really like one another ==, play well together. We have a chance to be really y good when Darryn gets back- - - - HUGE WIN
Where would we be without Tre in this game ?- - our big are no facto Flory getting nothing from , they have Neutralized our Bigs. then we do what we always do , go through that 2-3 minute stretch tun brain dead and we go from 2 down to 9 down - - -mercy. could get really ugly here in the 2nd half
Two guys that concern me with Tennessee one --- Gillispie just really good,
& even bigger then him is worried about their big boy his girth pretty solid afraid he might just play bully ball and either one will give Bryson or Flory fits and get them in foul trouble, can' match his physicality

@BeddieKU23 Yes he is , he really has done more then I expected, didn't think h would be that much of aa scorer. I love the way he takes the ball to the hole, and plays through contact- --really scraps for rebounds just complete player, has become one of my favorite players
Ithink guys Coach has found a really good combination and think actually can give teams trouble -- I love Tiller And Flory playing together on the floor at the same time- --- --Not going to lie, I didn't think Tre was going to be as good as he has been so far Tre is just a dog , surprises me how well he hits the boards , didn't think he would be that much of a scorer yet what I really like is how he et's th the basket draws fouls love the way he plays. ---Council is solid , can be a little out of control at times BUT man he is fast , announcers talking about him multiple times, --- -you have those four on the floor and think Darryn coming back before long we going to be better going to be fun to watch.
Eight blocks today we are ranked 13 th in the Nation with block shots , think they said averaging 6.4 per game and we lead the big twelve in blocks

Well the Big Twelve went 4-0 in the tourney today, Ku should benefit with all these dang rules in this tourney- As we won by the biggest separation-- --we won by Ten- - Baylor won by Seven----Iowa St won by one & Houston won by like Five.
So do I have this right, if your not one of the top four teams that has played then you play again Thursday ?
Keys to beating Syracuse tomorrow :- - -Take care of the ball---Syracuse presses most of the game- - -Gotta hit the boards -- -Got to defend the three, and hope that they just don't go white hot from the line, be our luck they won't miss period after that display today , Hope they shoot FT like they did today

@Kcmatt7 Agree. It sure does , seems like EVERY YEAR there is something. I've said before I would love just for ONE season just ONE it sure would be nice if we could go through a season with out: -- Injuries- - - kids either in or alleged dealings with the law- ----- - or problems with the NCAA just one season at least that w didn't have to deal with something hat didn't effect our program. I've concluded is this year we have no Devin Neal. Devin made p for a lot of mistakes , helped a hell of a lot covering a lot of decencies we had. We for one are not near the team we was with Devin not nearly as close to the more explosive team as we had last year.
Yet that's not where our main problem lies it's our defense, our defense just ssucks--- plain and simple , they can't stop a cold sure they can make a play here and there but then turn right around and give up huge play on key third down- - that is just not acceptable , there has to be a change. We must have guys that can play pressure man defense--b just have to be better all around.
@Kcmatt7 Agree totally , been saying most of the year DK McDonald has GOT TO GO.- - - -- like as yesterday, won't be soon enough. with he way he runs this defense is sad, having your secondary play 10- - -15 yards away from receiver is insane- -didn't think it was possible but our defense has taken a step back this year , like ew could afford that- -as a whole Season of under achievement

I'm concerned , and yet not overly concerned , I mean we have beaten them the last two yrs so 50/50 chance anyways beat them at their place then beat them at our place

@Zabudda I have yet to see anything from different reporters analysts and such have ANYTHING to say negative about KU every single one of them was impressed and talking about Darryn's supporting cast talking about when we get Darryn back how they think KU will be a serios contender-- talking about different players like Tiller , Kohl-- talking about how much Flory has improved.
Was watching a Duke podcast and they were talking about how Flory just gave their Bigs fits all night long. I was very encouraged about how the guys stepped up
Well our Ladies won again and moved to 5 ----& 0 on the Desson beating Minnesota who was 4- --& coming into tonight. Nicols went 12 for 12 from the Ft line and we was able to win without Davis tonight who sit out because of a leg inury. Minnesota was averaging 92 points a game KU held them to 57, Great job Lsdies
Well I apologize to our boys and for the most part busted their butts off and kept this game from being a complete blow out. Just get some key time buckets to fall, or get that rebound when really needed
Tre busted his butt off -- -huge game from him , Council was a day/night performance bad first half-- much better 2nd half.-- We just HAVE to get more from Kohl, like I said I think would be goo to swap Kohl for Dawson for awhile , let him come off the bench
I myslf don't care what anyone else thinks I think they gave Duke all they wanted for the most part without our Stud , sure wish we could get him back BUT I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.
@kjayhawks ya him leaving early as of right now anyways is zelch , zero , nada unless he just ain't happy with hid playing time for some reason . He is not doing anything on the floor right now for much interest from other schools.

Well Bill sure didn't sound encouraging on Darryn , & listening to the pod cast of field of 68 after dark. Bill said he not going to put out till the pain is gone--- -not taking that risk, might be sitting till Big Twelve play.
They had a former plyer cant remember this kids name but he said when he played there wasn't as many people involved with the decision , it was just The Coaching staff and medical- -now you have hose plus their agents & others
They also said at first they thought it was cramps but now for sure hamstring just now sure sounds we gonna be without him for some time. We gonna take some real beatings , but hey for Darryn for sure has to do what's best for Darryn future. They were talking about if he returns to early you have to look at his usage % rate in the time he has played his % rate is like the comparison of Harden when he was playing at Houston wouldn't be good.
Now I know this really sucks for our own selfish reasons as fans it sucks bad but, from Darryn's stand point from Darryn's perspective we are talking about his future. He comes back to soon and makes things worse could be real problem for him.- --Tis game as we know it is Darryn future job. just like anybody else. @kjayhawks ya, there are people- --some here that think we have had a terrible year, you ought to listen to K/State fan base-- you would think the sky is falling. How bad Johnson is playing , they don't know what the hell their Coach is doing- -- How the team has cashed it in- -what the hell Wells is calling.
They said in the Okla St game that Okla St had the ball inside the thirty like four times and came away scoring zero points okie state beating their selves fumbling the ball twice and missing field goal. K/State podcasts just going nuts

Geez , I give up trying to know where this is going with Stokes.- --CBS had a 247 recruiting update and they were saying it's still a very wide open recruitment. the interview was with Travis Braham from 247
He was saying for about the past month Kentucky has been perceived as the landing spot and most analysts still ; do believe he will end up committing there but Travis was saying that KU was still a very strong . legit player in this recruitment. He says that there is still really strong interest from KU AND from Stokes camp really strong interest from Stokes camp towards KU also.
Travis did say that as of right now he STILL thinks he commits to Kentucky but for sure do not count- -who the heck knows
Our Ladies are up 3- - -1 at the half in the NCAA soccer tourney. Should be 3- - -0 , but our goalie got a little careless, still doing good --long 2nd half to go
